Costco lists early shopping for Executive members from 9–10 a.m. Monday through Friday and Sunday, and from 9–9:30 a.m. Saturday. The benefit is effective June 30, 2025, but hours vary by warehouse, so check your local listing before you go.

These are the hours on Costco’s Executive Member Benefits page, which lists the benefit as effective June 30, 2025. They are not a guarantee for every warehouse or holiday: Costco says, “There may be slight variations in hours for each warehouse.”
How to check your local warehouse’s hours
- Open Costco’s warehouse locator and find your warehouse.
- Review its Store Details for shopping hours, holiday adjustments, or closures.
- If you need a service department, check its schedule separately; department hours may differ from warehouse hours.
Costco recommends checking the local listing because schedules can vary.
Why Costco is bringing back early access
Costco previously offered early hours at some locations. Axios reported in June 2025 that U.S. locations already opening at 9 a.m. for all members would begin reserving that early period for Executive members on June 30. The present schedule should be confirmed with the local warehouse rather than inferred from that rollout account.

What does an Executive Membership cost?
Costco’s FAQ, published March 16, 2026, lists a base membership at $65 per year and Executive as an additional $65 per year, plus applicable tax. Executive members also earn an annual 2% reward on qualifying purchases, subject to eligibility rules and exclusions, and receive other benefits. Early access is one part of the package; whether the upgrade is worthwhile depends on your shopping habits, qualifying spending, and the hours at your warehouse.
