Para descargar un recibo de nómina ya emitido, entra al portal del SAT y abre Trámites → Factura electrónica → Consultar, cancelar y recuperar. Inicia sesión con Contraseña o e.firma, busca el CFDI recibido por folio fiscal o fecha de emisión y descarga el XML o su representación impresa. Si tu empleador ofrece un portal propio, también puedes consultar allí; los pasos dependen de cada empresa.
Descarga un recibo de nómina desde el SAT

Abre el servicio del SAT Consulta tus recibos de nómina a través del portal del SAT. La ruta indicada es Trámites → Factura electrónica → Consultar, cancelar y recuperar.

Accede al servicio de Consulta y recuperación de comprobantes con Contraseña o e.firma.

Selecciona la consulta de CFDI recibidos. Si tienes el folio fiscal, úsalo para buscar el comprobante; si no, busca por fecha de emisión.

Verifica que el resultado corresponda al periodo y al emisor correctos. Descarga el formato que necesitas: XML para conservar el archivo digital del CFDI o representación impresa para leerlo e imprimirlo.
Elige entre el XML, la representación impresa y el visor de nómina

El SAT ofrece ambas opciones de descarga en el servicio de recuperación. Para consultar ingresos y retenciones por ejercicio, usa el Visor de comprobantes de nómina para el trabajador. El SAT indica que contiene información desde 2017 en adelante y que puede mostrar ajustes posteriores del empleador dentro del mismo ejercicio.

Confirma que elegiste CFDI recibidos y que el folio o el periodo de búsqueda es correcto.

Pregunta al área de nóminas o recursos humanos si el comprobante ya fue emitido. El SAT permite consultar comprobantes emitidos y reportados al sistema; si la empresa usa un portal interno, solicita la ruta de acceso y las instrucciones de descarga, que varían según el empleador.

Si encuentras el CFDI pero un dato no coincide, compara periodo e importes con tus registros y consulta al empleador que expidió el comprobante. El visor de nómina también puede reflejar ajustes hechos por el patrón para ese ejercicio.
El SAT describe el CFDI de nómina como el comprobante fiscal del pago en su página de Recibo de nómina. No hay un procedimiento único del SAT para resolver todas las demoras ni una interfaz común para los portales de las empresas; por eso, confirma la emisión con quien te paga.

Límites publicados para el servicio de recuperación
En la información del SAT consultada el 8 de octubre de 2026, el servicio general indica que muestra los primeros 500 CFDI para descarga de XML o representación impresa, permite recuperar hasta 2,000 XML al día y hasta un millón de registros de metadatos. Son límites del servicio general de consulta y recuperación, no límites exclusivos de los recibos de nómina; pueden cambiar.
