Verdict: CoinBrokerz should be treated as unverified and high risk, not as an established forex broker. I could not verify, from reliable regulatory records available for this review, a clearly identifiable licensed company operating the CoinBrokerz brand. That does not by itself prove fraud, but it means prospective customers should not deposit money until the legal entity, regulator, trading conditions and withdrawal process have been independently confirmed.
Forex and CFD scams often use professional-looking websites, account dashboards and assigned “account managers” while avoiding the basic information that a regulated broker must disclose. If CoinBrokerz is asking for an extra payment to release a withdrawal, a tax paid in advance, a security deposit or a higher “VIP” deposit, stop sending money.
Is CoinBrokerz legit?
There is not enough independently verifiable information to classify CoinBrokerz as a legitimate, properly regulated retail forex broker. The key issue is not whether the website looks genuine. It is whether a customer can match the brand to a specific legal company and then confirm that company’s authorization directly in a regulator’s database.
A broker should clearly publish:
- Its full legal company name and registration number
- The regulator that authorizes its investment services
- A license or reference number that can be checked independently
- A physical office address and contact details
- Terms covering client money, leverage, conflicts of interest and withdrawals
- Restrictions showing which countries it may legally serve
A website domain, certificate, company logo or claimed license number is not proof of authorization. Fraudulent websites sometimes copy the details of real firms or use the names of regulators without holding a license.

How to check CoinBrokerz’s regulatory claims
Do not use a link supplied by a salesperson. Open the regulator’s official website yourself and search for the legal entity, not just “CoinBrokerz.” The name on the trading website may be a marketing brand rather than the regulated company.
- United States: Search the NFA BASIC database. A firm offering retail forex in the U.S. generally needs the appropriate CFTC/NFA status. A claim that the broker is “international” does not replace U.S. authorization.
- United Kingdom: Search the FCA Financial Services Register. Check the exact legal name, website, phone number and permission for the relevant service. A firm appearing only on the FCA warning list is not authorized.
- Australia: Search ASIC’s professional registers and verify that the license covers the service being offered.
- European Union: Check the relevant national regulator and confirm whether the firm is authorized to provide cross-border services in the customer’s country.
- Other jurisdictions: Use the country’s official securities or financial-services regulator. Do not treat an offshore incorporation certificate as equivalent to a retail investment license.
Watch for near-matches. A scam site may use a name similar to a genuine broker while displaying different domains, phone numbers or email addresses. If the regulator record does not list the website and contact details used by CoinBrokerz, assume the authorization claim is not verified.
Why offshore registration would not settle the question
Some brokers operate from jurisdictions with lighter regulatory requirements. Incorporation in an offshore financial center can show that a company exists, but it does not necessarily provide the safeguards many retail traders expect, such as strong conduct supervision, compensation arrangements, restrictions on leverage, negative-balance protection or an accessible complaints process.

The important distinction is:
| Evidence | What it establishes | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Company registration | A legal entity may have been formed | That it is authorized to offer forex or CFDs |
| Trading platform access | A customer may be able to place simulated or live-looking trades | That trades are executed fairly or funds are withdrawable |
| Regulatory license | The named entity has permission within a defined jurisdiction | That every website using the brand is genuine |
| Positive online reviews | People have posted favorable comments | That the broker is financially sound or supervised |
Withdrawal requests are the most important test
Legitimate brokers may request identity documents, source-of-funds information and a return to the original payment method. Those controls are normal anti-money-laundering procedures. They should not be confused with demands for more money.

A broker can deduct a disclosed processing fee from the withdrawal or trading account. Requiring a fresh deposit before releasing the customer’s own money is a classic advance-fee warning sign. A larger deposit rarely fixes the problem; it usually increases the potential loss.

Common CoinBrokerz warning signs to check
Before opening or funding an account, look for these specific failure modes:
- Unsolicited contact: A caller or social-media contact promises unusually high returns or claims to have selected you for a private opportunity.
- Guaranteed profits: Forex and CFD trading involve substantial loss risk. No genuine broker can guarantee a return.
- Pressure to deposit: The salesperson imposes a deadline, matches a deposit or says an account will be closed unless more funds arrive.
- Managed-account claims: Someone offers to trade for you but cannot show the authorization required to provide investment management.
- Crypto-only payments: Cryptocurrency transfers can be difficult or impossible to reverse. They should not be used to bypass normal regulated payment channels.
- Unclear legal terms: The site names no company, gives a mailbox address or provides generic terms with no governing entity.
- Fake account growth: The dashboard shows profits, but every withdrawal triggers another charge or verification demand.
- Remote-access requests: A “support agent” asks to control your computer or phone through AnyDesk, TeamViewer or similar software.
Can CoinBrokerz be trusted with a deposit?
On the information that can be responsibly verified, no. The appropriate classification is high risk/unverified, rather than a definitive legal finding that CoinBrokerz is a scam. That distinction matters: a lack of verifiable authorization is enough reason not to deposit, but it is not the same as a regulator or court proving fraud.
Do not rely on a small successful withdrawal as proof of safety. Fraudulent operations may process an early withdrawal to build confidence before requesting a much larger deposit. Test the complete process only with money you can afford to lose—and preferably do not fund an unverified broker at all.
What to do if you already sent money
- Stop sending additional deposits, taxes or verification payments.
- Save screenshots of the website, dashboard, chat messages, emails, payment instructions and wallet addresses.
- Contact your bank or card issuer immediately and ask whether a card dispute, transfer recall or fraud case is possible. Time limits may apply.
- If cryptocurrency was used, notify the exchange or wallet provider that received the funds. Recovery is not guaranteed, but the transaction records may help.
- Change passwords, enable two-factor authentication and remove any remote-access software installed at the broker’s request.
- Report the matter to your national financial regulator and local law-enforcement or cybercrime reporting service.
- Be cautious of “recovery agents” who promise to retrieve the funds for an upfront fee. Victims are frequently targeted a second time.
Questions to ask before funding any forex broker
Request written answers to these questions and verify them independently:
- What is the exact legal name of the contracting company?
- What is its regulator and license number?
- Does the regulator’s register list this exact website and contact information?
- Where are client funds held, and are they segregated?
- What is the complete withdrawal fee schedule?
- Can a customer withdraw without making another deposit?
- Which entity handles complaints and what external dispute process is available?
If support avoids direct answers, changes the company name, sends only screenshots of a license or insists that questions must go through an assigned agent, walk away.

Is CoinBrokerz a regulated forex broker?
I could not verify a clearly identifiable CoinBrokerz legal entity and active retail-forex authorization from reliable regulatory records for this review. Treat its regulatory status as unverified unless you can confirm it directly through the relevant regulator.

Is CoinBrokerz definitely a scam?
That cannot be stated as a proven fact without an official finding or independently verified evidence. However, an unverifiable broker is too risky to fund, and any demand for extra money before withdrawal is a serious advance-fee warning sign.
What if CoinBrokerz asks me to pay tax before withdrawing?
Do not pay it. A broker should not require an advance tax, security deposit or new funding payment to release your balance. Contact your bank or card provider and report the incident to your regulator.
Can I recover money sent to CoinBrokerz?
Recovery is uncertain, but act quickly. Contact the payment provider, request a recall or dispute where available, preserve evidence and report the recipient. Be wary of recovery companies demanding an upfront fee.
What is the safest way to verify a forex broker?
Find the broker’s exact legal entity, open the regulator’s official register yourself, confirm the license covers retail forex or CFDs, and match the register’s website and contact details to the site asking for your money.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: CoinBrokerz has not met the basic verification standard this review requires for a forex broker. Until its legal entity and authorization are confirmed in an official regulator database, prospective customers should not deposit. If the company is already demanding an additional payment to release funds, treat that as a major scam indicator and focus on contacting your payment provider rather than sending more money.
