Coinbase acknowledged delays affecting some Solana sends and receives on September 21, 2026, then marked the incident resolved at 18:55 PDT. The notice did not say every user was unable to transfer SOL. At the latest status snapshot on October 8, Coinbase and Solana both listed their relevant services as operational; check the live pages for updates and use your transaction record to diagnose a specific transfer.
Is Coinbase Solana send and receive down?
Coinbase’s incident record shows that on September 21, 2026, some users might experience delayed sends and receives on Solana. Coinbase said buys, sells, and fiat withdrawals and deposits were not affected. It marked the issue resolved at 18:55 PDT that day. As of October 8, 2026, Coinbase listed Solana as operational, and Solana listed its mainnet cluster and RPC nodes as operational. These are status-page snapshots, not a diagnosis or guarantee for a particular account or transfer. Check Coinbase Status and Solana Status for current updates.
Why can’t I send Solana from Coinbase?
A service-side delay is one possibility, but a status incident does not establish what is happening with your individual transaction. Check Coinbase’s current status first, then open the SOL transfer in your transaction history and inspect its status. Coinbase’s September notice used the term “delayed sends and receives”; it did not report that all users were unable to transact.

What to do if an outgoing SOL transfer has not arrived
- Open the transfer record: In Coinbase, select the individual transaction and check whether it is pending or complete.
- If it is pending, allow time for processing: Coinbase recommends waiting at least 30 minutes, then opening the block-explorer link from that transaction to check confirmations.
- If confirmations remain at zero: Contact Coinbase Support using its official support route. Coinbase’s send and receive troubleshooting guide describes these checks.
- If Coinbase marks it complete: Verify the recipient address and confirm the recipient supports the network used. Coinbase warns that it “can’t recover funds sent on the wrong network.”
What to check if an incoming SOL transfer is missing
- Confirm the sender used the expected network and entered the correct receiving address.
- Close and reopen the Coinbase app or browser; update the app if needed.
- Allow for network congestion, which Coinbase says can extend completion time.
Coinbase’s troubleshooting guidance recommends these checks. If the transfer remains missing, use the transaction details and Coinbase’s official support route rather than assuming that a public network status page identifies the cause.
What Coinbase’s incident notice does—and does not—confirm
At 18:28 PDT on September 21, Coinbase said it was investigating reports of delayed Solana sends and receives, while buys, sells, and fiat deposits and withdrawals remained unaffected. At 18:55 PDT, it marked the incident resolved and said the issue had been identified and a fix was being implemented. Coinbase also stated that users’ funds were safe; that was Coinbase’s incident assurance, not an independent finding about any individual account.
