Coinbase’s homepage promotion and the Coinbase-hosted event listing gave the event date as October 8, 2026.
The event listing named Ansem, Jez, Intern, and HDF among the participants and identified Taiki Maeda of Steady Labs as host. It did not establish a complete final roster. The listing’s schedule set doors for 7:30 p.m., competition for 8:30 p.m., and an afterparty for 10 p.m. Singapore time. Coinbase’s homepage promotion separately advertised a livestream at 8:45 p.m. Singapore time. These are published schedule details, not confirmation that every segment ran as planned.
How viewers were meant to watch and vote
Coinbase promoted livestream viewing through X and YouTube and invited viewers to vote for a trader in the Coinbase app. The company said voting rounds were expected to open about 24 hours before the competition. Its promotion stated that one trader could be selected in each round, votes could not be changed after submission, and unused votes expired when a round closed. Coinbase’s LinkedIn update also pointed viewers toward the stream.
