The Coca-Cola Company announced Simply Pop on February 18, 2025, calling it the company’s first prebiotic soda. The original launch lineup had five flavors in 12-ounce shelf-stable slim cans. Coca-Cola’s current product page lists a different five-flavor lineup, with Raspberry in place of Lime, and reports 50–60 calories, 9–10 grams of total sugars and 6 grams of dietary fiber per can, depending on flavor. Those figures and the company’s health-support language are product information—not independent evidence of clinical benefits.
What Coca-Cola announced at launch
In its February 18, 2025 announcement, Coca-Cola described Simply Pop as its first entry into prebiotic soda. It positioned the drink around fruit-forward taste, juice and functional ingredients, and said the cans would be shelf-stable.
The company said its team spent more than a year refining the taste profile, packaging and visual identity through taste tests and consumer feedback sessions. That is Coca-Cola’s account of its development process, not an independently audited consumer study. Executives also framed the launch around interest in juice and prebiotic sodas and consumers’ familiarity with the Simply brand.
The original five flavors
- Strawberry
- Pineapple Mango
- Fruit Punch
- Lime
- Citrus Punch
Coca-Cola said the launch cans contained 6 grams of prebiotic fiber, had no added sugar and included 25–30% real fruit juice from concentrate. It also described vitamin C and zinc as supporting immune function.

Which Simply Pop flavors are listed now?
The current Simply product page lists Raspberry, Strawberry, Pineapple Mango, Fruit Punch and Citrus Punch in 12-ounce cans. That differs from the original announcement: Raspberry appears on the current page, while Lime appeared in the launch lineup. The company’s pages do not explain whether the difference reflects a replacement, a rename or a later change.
For a current purchase, check the live product listing and package, rather than assuming the 2025 launch flavors are still the full lineup.
What is in a can?
Across its current flavor panels, Simply reports 50–60 calories, 17–19 grams of total carbohydrate, 6 grams of dietary fiber, 9–10 grams of total sugars and zero added sugars per 12-ounce can. The panels also show 20% of the daily value for vitamin C and 20% for zinc. These are flavor-dependent label values, so they should not be read as one exact figure for every can.

What does “prebiotic soda” mean here?
Prebiotics are dietary components that can be used by gut microbes. In Simply Pop, Coca-Cola identifies soluble corn fiber as the prebiotic fiber ingredient and lists 6 grams of dietary fiber per can. That label information describes the product; it does not establish that drinking Simply Pop produces a specific digestive, gut-health or immune outcome.

The company describes Simply Pop as supporting gut and immune health. The reviewed product information does not provide independent clinical evidence demonstrating those outcomes for Simply Pop. At launch, Coca-Cola said Simply Pop would begin appearing in select regions later in February 2025, with online availability nationwide through Amazon Fresh and further market expansion planned during 2025. Those were launch-era plans, not confirmation of current store coverage, inventory or an active online listing.

How to assess the product information
- Compare the same serving size: the current panels are for 12-ounce cans; compare calories, total sugars, fiber and ingredients on the same basis when considering other drinks.
- Separate total sugars from added sugars: Simply Pop’s current panels list 9–10 grams of total sugars and zero added sugars. The two label measures are not interchangeable.
- Check the flavor’s package: flavor listings and nutrition values can differ, and the current page’s lineup differs from the original launch announcement.
- Keep health claims in context: the company’s support language is not, by itself, independent proof of a particular health effect.
Coca-Cola’s FAQ discusses Simply Pop alongside Olipop and Poppi, but that is the company’s own comparison. The available information here does not establish a numerical head-to-head comparison of competitor formulas, prices or current availability.
