The National Testing Agency (NTA) extended the CMAT 2025 application deadline to 25 December 2024, at 9:50 p.m. The fee-payment cutoff was later that night, at 11:50 p.m. Both the application window and the exam have now passed: CMAT 2025 was scheduled for 25 January 2025, so candidates cannot register for that session now. What was the revised CMAT 2025 application deadline?
NTA’s public notice dated 13 December 2024 extended the form-submission deadline from 13 December to 25 December 2024, 9:50 p.m. The deadline for successful fee transactions was extended to 25 December 2024, 11:50 p.m. These were separate cutoffs: submitting a form and completing its payment were not assigned the same closing time. The original application period ran from 14 November through 13 December 2024, with form submission closing at 9:50 p.m. on the final day. Applications were accepted online through the NTA CMAT portal; the original notice said applications in any other mode would not be accepted. See NTA’s original application notice.

The extension notice moved the correction window from 15–17 December to 26–27 December 2024. The original notice specified a 180-minute exam conducted in English. These dates and exam details describe the 2025 cycle, not a later session. Extension notice · Original notice.
Can you still register for CMAT 2025?
No. The revised form deadline was in December 2024, and the exam was scheduled for January 2025. As of 8 October 2026, the application period and exam are both over. The old registration page or dates should not be treated as an open application route.
If you want to apply for a later CMAT session, use the current NTA CMAT portal and rely on notices for that session. Do not assume the 2025 deadline, payment cutoff, correction dates, fees, eligibility conditions, or exam schedule carry forward.

Who was eligible for the 2025 session?
NTA’s CMAT 2025 FAQ said applicants needed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, or could be in the final year of a bachelor’s programme if their results would be declared before admission for academic year 2025–26. It also stated that candidates had to be Indian citizens and that CMAT 2025 had no age limit.
