Cloudstream, a rural estate at 664 Collie River Road in Burekup, was offered for sale from $3 million in October 2024 and was later reported sold for $2,475,000 in 2026. The property was described as about 23 kilometres from Bunbury, with two residences, acreage in the Collie River Valley and views across the surrounding landscape. It is no longer a current listing, and published sources disagree about the sale date.
Where is Cloudstream?
The estate is at 664 Collie River Road, Burekup WA 6227, in the Collie River Valley. PerthNow’s October 2024 feature placed it about 23 kilometres from Bunbury and described it as acreage between Bunbury and Collie. The story’s scenic descriptions, including views over the valley and plains, reflect the article’s characterization rather than a measured view or landscape assessment.
PerthNow reported direct rear access to State forest and bike-riding trails. That is a feature attributed to the 2024 article; prospective visitors should verify current access and conditions rather than relying on old listing material.
What did the estate include?
The 2024 feature described two residences on the property: a two-bedroom, double-storey main house and a separate rammed-earth guest residence. It also reported two lounge rooms, a study, solar panels used to heat rainwater, an air-conditioned wine cellar and parking for 11 cars.

Bedroom counts differ in later property records. PerthNow described the guest home as having three bedrooms and accommodating up to 10 people. A later realestate.com.au sold listing describes four bedrooms in that residence and six bedrooms and four bathrooms across the property. The available records do not explain the difference, so the exact current configuration is not established.
The later listing identifies the land as 42.09 hectares (104 acres); PerthNow rounded this to 42 hectares in 2024. The later listing also cautions that its photographs are not recent and may not reflect the property’s current condition.

What was the asking price, and what did it sell for?
| Record | Price and timing | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| PerthNow feature, October 2024 | Offers from $3 million | Historical asking-price guidance, not a current offer or confirmed sale price. |
| Domain sold record, 2026 | $2,475,000; sale dated 5 May 2026 by Domain | Reported sale price and Domain’s stated date. |
| REIWA record, 2026 | Sale dated 16 March 2026 by REIWA | REIWA reports a different sale date for the same address. |
The reported $2,475,000 sale price is below the 2024 “offers from” figure, but those numbers describe different stages of the property’s history. The former is an asking-price threshold, while the latter is a reported transaction price. They are not evidence of a market-wide trend or a valuation of comparable acreage.

Cloudstream’s record is useful as a snapshot of one rural property, not as a guide to what acreage between Bunbury and Collie generally costs. The reported price and features belong to this estate and its particular sale history.

- Check current status: the property has been reported sold, so the October 2024 offer is not live.
- Confirm property details: bedroom counts vary between the 2024 article and later listing, and the later portal warns that photos may be dated.
- Resolve the sale-date discrepancy: Domain gives 5 May 2026, while REIWA gives 16 March 2026.
- Verify access and condition: historical descriptions of forest access, trails, views and buildings do not establish what a present-day inspection would show.
