The CISF skill-test e-admit card announced in January 2024 was for shortlisted candidates in the ASI (Steno) and Head Constable (Ministerial) recruitment cycle, ASI (Steno)/HC (Min)-2022. Contemporary reporting said the skill tests were scheduled from 29 January to 7 February 2024. Those dates have passed; it is not confirmed whether the 2024 card remains downloadable.

Which recruitment and admit card did the notice cover?

The announcement related to the 2022 recruitment cycle for Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) and Head Constable (Ministerial), not a new 2024 recruitment. The CISF homepage directs candidates to its recruitment website for recruitment notices and admit-card information: CISF official homepage.

For the January 2024 announcement, contemporaneous reporting identified the recruitment portal as cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in and said candidates needed their registration ID and password. Because the event is historical, do not assume the old login or card is still available; check the notice for the recruitment cycle you are applying to.

What were the skill-test dates?

The schedule changed over the course of January, and the notices addressed different candidate groups:

  • 3 January notice: HC (Min)-only candidates were scheduled from 10 January 2024. Candidates taking the ASI (Steno) test, including those appearing for both posts, were tentatively scheduled from 29 January. The notice said e-admit cards for affected HC (Min)-only candidates would be uploaded shortly.
  • 19 January report: Scroll.in reported that the skill test would run from 29 January through 7 February 2024 and that the admit card had been released.

These are dated updates, not one combined schedule. The 10 January date applied to the HC (Min)-only group in the earlier notice; the later report described the subsequent test window. See the CISF skill-test notice copy and Scroll.in’s 19 January 2024 report.

How candidates were directed to access the e-admit card

  1. Go to the CISF recruitment portal named in the notice: cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in.
  2. Use the registration ID and password associated with the application to sign in.
  3. Open the skill-test e-admit card and print it for the test.
  4. Read the individual card for the reporting time, venue and any documents to bring.

The CISF notice advised shortlisted candidates to print the e-admit card using their login credentials. It also instructed candidates to follow the reporting time shown for their venue, bring documents mentioned on the card “if any,” and noted that requests to change the skill-test centre would not be entertained. The notice text is reproduced in a copy hosted at Scribd; the host is not the issuing authority.

Can you still download the 2024 card?

Its present availability has not been verified. The CISF homepage contains current recruitment information, but it does not establish that the old 2024 e-admit card is still live. If you need an admit card now, start at the official CISF homepage, follow the recruitment-portal link, and check the notice and login instructions for your own recruitment cycle.
