The original Times report was not directly available for verification, so this should be described as a figure attributed to that newspaper rather than as a directly confirmed estimate. The two amounts are estimates from different dates and sources, not a live measure of Martin’s finances. They do not establish what he owns, owes, or has earned since publication.

Why Coldplay’s earnings are not Martin’s personal wealth
Coldplay’s reported earnings and tour receipts describe the band or its events, not Martin’s individual net worth. Forbes Colombia estimated Coldplay’s 2025 earnings at $105 million and described roughly 50 Music of the Spheres tour shows as generating about $375 million in gross revenue (Forbes Colombia, 2025). Those are group earnings and approximate tour gross, not Martin’s personal take-home pay.
Pollstar reported the tour’s 2025 gross as $390,489,072 and attendance of 2,918,405 tickets (Pollstar, 2025). Its gross figure differs from Forbes’s approximate estimate; the figures should remain attributed to their respective publications rather than combined. Gross ticket receipts are not profit: costs, contractual arrangements, taxes, and other obligations affect what individuals may receive.

No current personal wealth estimate newer than the 2023 figure is established by these sources. Tour revenue cannot fill that gap: it does not show Martin’s share after expenses, taxes, or other financial arrangements, and a net-worth estimate also requires information about assets and liabilities. The most accurate answer is therefore to cite the dated estimates and treat any exact current figure as unverified.
