PerthNow reported on 7 October 2024 that Tia Ellison had listed a Spanish-style, six-bedroom house on Saunders Street in Mosman Park. She bought the 826-square-metre property for $5 million in 2014. It was one of three adjoining properties associated with the Ellisons, and the report said the couple had never lived in it.
Which Mosman Park property was listed in 2024?
The listing concerned a Spanish-style house on Saunders Street, not the Ellisons’ much larger waterfront estate. PerthNow described the house as having six bedrooms, four bathrooms and an 826-square-metre block. The report said Tia Ellison bought it for $5 million in 2014. PerthNow’s October 2024 report identified it as part of a three-property holding.
The home reportedly faces north, with views across the river toward the city, and is near Chidley Point Reserve. Its features included Spanish tiles, arched white-rendered walls, curved stairs, a wine cellar, basement, sauna, open-plan kitchen and living areas, and a tiled courtyard facing the river. PerthNow also reported that the couple had never lived in the house.
How did it fit into the Ellisons’ larger property holding?
PerthNow reported that the three adjacent Saunders Street properties together covered 9,159 square metres. The listed house was the smallest parcel described in the article. The figures below are as reported by PerthNow, not independently verified title measurements.

Was this the same property announced for sale in 2026?
No. In April 2026, Ray White announced that 43 Saunders Street—the larger estate purchased by the Ellisons for $57.5 million in 2009—was returning to market after 16 years. That announcement concerns a separate property from the six-bedroom house Tia acquired in 2014 and listed in 2024. Ray White’s 2026 announcement named Vivien Yap of Ray White Dalkeith Claremont as the listing agent.

The same announcement quoted Ray White Chief Economist Nerida Conisbee saying that the Mosman Park–Peppermint Grove median house price grew 16.9 per cent to $3.03 million over the prior year. This was market context reported by Ray White in 2026, not a valuation of the 2024-listed house or an independent official price series. Ray White’s announcement also includes comments from the agent about the larger estate; those remarks do not describe the 2024 house.

PerthNow said there had been no word on why the couple were selling the 2024-listed house. The article’s suggestion that it might be surplus to their needs was speculation, not an explanation from the Ellisons. It also reported that agent Jody Fewster had received many calls and expected a future owner to make over the home.

The available reporting does not establish whether the 2024 listing resulted in a sale or what its final price was. A later headline in The West Australian referred to the Ellisons selling in Mosman Park, but the accessible page did not provide article details sufficient to confirm an outcome for this particular house.
