Cherry Hill Mortgage Investment Corporation (NYSE: CHMI) declared a $0.10-per-share dividend on its common stock for the third quarter of 2026, according to the company’s September 10 investor-news listing. The listing does not provide the Q3 record or payment dates, so those dates cannot be confirmed here.
What the $0.10 dividend applies to
The $0.10 amount is for each share of CHMI common stock; it is not the dividend for every class of Cherry Hill security. Cherry Hill describes itself as a diversified, hybrid residential mortgage REIT. Company overview
What is known about the Q3 2026 dates
The company’s September 10, 2026 investor-news listing identifies the $0.10 common dividend for Q3, but its displayed information does not establish a record date or payment date. A declaration is the board’s announcement of a dividend; record and payment dates are separate terms, and the Q3 dates should not be inferred from another quarter’s release. Cherry Hill investor news
Q2 2026 dates and preferred dividends are different
Cherry Hill’s June 11 release declared a separate $0.10-per-common-share dividend for Q2 2026, payable July 31, 2026, to common stockholders of record at close of business June 30. Those dates apply to Q2, not the Q3 declaration. Q2 dividend release

The same Q2 release listed different amounts for the company’s preferred shares:
| Share class | Q2 2026 dividend per share | Q2 record date | Q2 payment date |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common stock | $0.10 | June 30, 2026 | July 31, 2026 |
| 8.20% Series A preferred stock | $0.5125 | June 30, 2026 | July 15, 2026 |
| 8.250% Series B preferred stock | $0.6045 | June 30, 2026 | July 15, 2026 |
The preferred amounts are Q2 2026 terms from Cherry Hill’s June 11 release; they are not the Q3 common dividend. Dividend amounts alone do not establish equivalent rights or risk across share classes. Q2 dividend release

Does the declaration show whether the dividend is sustainable?
No. The declaration establishes the announced amount for that quarter, not a guarantee of future payments. In its Q2 results, Cherry Hill says earnings available for distribution (EAD) is one indicator of earnings capacity, but not the only factor in setting a dividend; the company also says EAD is not the same as REIT taxable income. A per-share declaration on its own therefore does not establish that future dividends will continue at the same level. Q2 results release
