What the verified 2024 prices show
These are U.S. manufacturer-published MSRPs, not dealer quotes or out-the-door totals. The figures are useful for comparing listed prices, but they do not establish which ten motorcycles were cheapest or their order.

Why this is not a verified top-ten ranking
The accessible Motorcyclist page, “Most Affordable (and Cheap) Naked Bikes 2024,” by Andrew Cherney, is dated August 15, 2024, but its accessible text does not expose the article’s ten models, order, or pricing method. How to compare a motorcycle’s sticker price with your budget
MSRP is a starting point, not the final amount due. Dealer pricing and charges can change what a buyer pays, and the available examples do not provide a consistent set of total transaction costs. Before comparing offers, ask the dealer for an itemized out-the-door quote and check which fees, taxes, and optional items it includes.

- Compare the final written quotes rather than assuming that the lowest MSRP means the lowest purchase cost.
What a low MSRP does not establish
Price alone cannot identify the best motorcycle for a particular rider. A useful value comparison also needs consistent information about factors such as displacement, seat height, curb weight, and standard equipment. The available sources do not establish those details across a complete ten-bike field, so they do not support an overall “best” pick.
The confirmed $4,999 figure is specifically the 2024 MT-03 MSRP announced by Yamaha in 2023; it is not evidence of the MT-03’s current 2026 price. The $8,199 MT-07 figure is likewise a 2024 MSRP, not a current quote.
