Chatr’s 8GB bonus-data promotion was a limited-time offer for new activations on monthly plans priced at $35 or more. MobileSyrup reported that it ended on February 16, 2026, and that the extra 8GB lasted for two years. The deadline has passed, so the reported deal should not be treated as currently available.
What the 2026 Chatr promotion offered
In a report published February 4, 2026, MobileSyrup described an extra 8GB of data for new activations on Chatr monthly plans costing $35 or more. The report gave February 16, 2026, as the sign-up deadline and said the promotional 8GB applied for two years. These are terms reported at the time; no surviving official promotion-terms page is established here.
The promotion’s 8GB was separate from the plan’s base data and any Auto-pay bonus. MobileSyrup’s examples for the offer were:
| Monthly plan price in the report | Base data | Auto-pay bonus | Promotional data | Reported combined total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $35 | 25GB | 10GB | 8GB | 43GB |
| $47 | 40GB | 40GB | 8GB | 88GB |
The totals combine each reported plan’s base data, Auto-pay bonus and promotional 8GB. They describe the historical offer, not current Chatr plan allowances or a present-day quote.

Is the 8GB deal still available?
The reported February 16, 2026 deadline is in the past. Chatr’s currently accessible plans page displays a different set of offers and does not show this 8GB promotion. An account-specific extension cannot be ruled out from public information, so anyone who believes they received one should confirm its terms directly in their Chatr account or with Chatr.
How current Chatr Auto-pay bonuses work
Auto-pay data is distinct from the expired promotional 8GB. Chatr’s Auto-pay information says an eligible bonus is added within 48 hours after a successful payment. The offer can change without notice, and the bonus does not apply if payment fails or the customer is no longer enrolled. It is associated with the current plan and may not apply after a plan change. Chatr’s Auto-pay FAQ describes the current bonus offer as lasting one month while the customer remains enrolled.
