What the Sapphire Reserve Apple benefit includes
The offer covers complimentary Apple Music and Apple TV+ subscriptions. Chase’s current Sapphire Reserve benefits page lists their combined value as $324 per year, as of October 4, 2026. That is Chase’s stated valuation, not a guaranteed saving for every cardmember: the amount differs across Chase publications. Its education article lists $288 annually, while Chase’s June 23, 2025 launch announcement gave an initial value of $250 annually. Your realized savings depend on the subscriptions you would otherwise pay for and their applicable renewal prices.
How to activate the subscriptions
- Sign in to the Chase Mobile app or Chase.com using the eligible cardmember’s account.
- In the app, open Card Benefits and select the Apple Music and Apple TV+ offers. On Chase.com, follow the Apple offer prompts.
- Complete the activation and link the Apple Account you want to use. Check that the Apple Account is the one associated with any existing Apple subscriptions or Apple One plan relevant to the offer.
Chase’s terms set a one-time activation deadline of June 22, 2027. The primary cardmember receives at least 12 months of complimentary service from activation; the deadline is not the end date for service already activated.
What happens to existing Apple subscriptions
Individual Apple Music or Apple TV+ plans
If you pay Apple directly for the corresponding individual plan, Chase says that plan is suspended while the complimentary Chase subscription is active. When the Chase benefit ends, the paid subscription resumes at Apple’s then-current price. Consider that future renewal before relying on the offer as a permanent replacement.

Apple One
If you have an active paid Apple One plan purchased directly from Apple, Chase’s terms describe an $8 discount per activated benefit, beginning with the next billing period, when you use the same Apple Account as the Apple One billing account. The Apple Music and Apple TV+ benefits have separate terms, and Apple may change or cancel the discount. The terms do not establish one net Apple One price for every account or billing setup.
What to check before claiming
- Make sure you are activating from the eligible cardmember’s Chase account and use the Apple Account you intend to keep using.
- If you already subscribe directly to Apple, check whether the offer applies to that subscription and note its renewal price after the complimentary period.
- If you pay for Apple One, verify that the billing Apple Account matches the account you link during activation.
- For authorized users, family-sharing arrangements, or unusual account configurations, Chase’s published terms do not settle every case. Review the offer shown in your Chase account or ask Chase or Apple about your specific setup.
Why Chase lists different annual values
Chase has published three different valuations for the combined subscriptions: $250 in its June 23, 2025 launch announcement, $288 in its education article, and $324 on its current Sapphire Reserve benefits page as of October 4, 2026. These are changing Chase-published valuations, not independent estimates or a promise that every cardmember will save that amount. For your own comparison, use the cost of the individual plans you would otherwise buy, account for your activation date and the minimum service period, and consider any Apple One discount and the renewal price that applies afterward.
