What was reported about the 2024 result
Scroll reported that 3,737 candidates were shortlisted for the mains examination and that the mains were scheduled for June 26–29, 2025. These figures and dates refer to the SSE 2024 cycle; they have not been independently confirmed against the archived official result notice.
Do not confuse it with the 2025–26 result
The March 2026 result was for a separate State Service Examination 2025–26 cycle. Jagran Josh reported that its prelims were held on February 22, 2026, with the result reported on March 25, 2026; it reported 3,921 qualifiers and 238 vacancies. Those details do not describe the 2024 prelims result.
