What the September reports recorded
The market reports below list delivery-intention quantities assigned for specific delivery days. The date in each row is the delivery day, not the date the report was published.

How to interpret the figures
Each number is a date-specific assignment quantity. The September 14 report’s table, for example, identifies 35 September corn contracts and 1 September soybean contract as assigned for the next delivery day, September 15. It does not give the number delivered across the whole month.
The selected dates show soybean assignments were low on those days, while corn assignments differed considerably. They do not establish that total September deliveries were low: assignments may have been made on other delivery days that are not represented here. Keep the commodities and delivery dates separate when reading a daily report.
