Compare the real out-the-door price
Start with the dealer’s written quote rather than the advertised starting MSRP. Ask for an itemized total that identifies the vehicle configuration, options, destination, taxes, fees and any dealer-added charges. Compare quotes for the same model year and configuration; a lower advertised price may not mean a lower final cost.
Match the bed to your cargo
Ford lists a 54.4-inch bed length and 33.3 cubic feet of cargo volume for the Maverick. Those figures describe a compact pickup, so measure the items you actually haul and check how they fit before deciding that a pickup bed will meet your needs. Ford lists optional hard roll-up and hard tri-fold pickup-box covers. For any accessory—especially one from a third party—verify fitment for the specific model year and configuration.
