You can stop using separate Actual and Billed Quantity columns in TallyPrime through the company’s F11 Features settings. TallyHelp documents that switch, but not a separate option to hide only Actual while keeping the separate-quantity feature on.
How to turn off separate Actual and Billed Quantity columns

Open the relevant company and press F11 to open Features.

Find Use separate Actual and Billed Quantity columns in invoices. If you cannot see it, set Show more features to Yes.

Set the separate-quantity option to No, then save the company feature change.

Open a sales voucher and check that its quantity entry suits the way your business records sales.
TallyHelp’s instructions explain how to enable the feature, but do not show the screen after disabling it or describe how the result varies by TallyPrime version. Confirm the voucher behavior in your own company before using it for transactions.
What changes when you switch the feature off?
Actual Quantity is the quantity sold to the customer; Billed Quantity is the quantity charged for. TallyHelp says the invoice total is based on billed quantity, while the goods handed over are based on actual quantity, including free items. If your business needs to record physical quantity separately from billable quantity, turning off the feature may remove information important to your workflow. See Tally Solutions’ sales guidance.
Can you hide only Actual and keep separate quantities?
The official help identifies a setting for using separate Actual and Billed Quantity columns; it does not document a hide-only switch that preserves the separate-quantity feature. If you need both quantities recorded but want Actual hidden from the voucher, check the instructions for your specific TallyPrime version or contact Tally support before relying on an assumed F12 setting or customization.

For the specific case of entering free items, TallyHelp documents another method: enable Allow zero-valued transactions in the Sales voucher type, then enter the free item’s quantity and leave Rate and Amount blank. This records a free item; it is not a general method for hiding an invoice column. The same TallyHelp page describes both approaches.
