You can search Amazon for a Steam gift card, but current Amazon stock, sellers, and listings are not confirmed here. Check the live listing before buying. If you want a reliable alternative, Steam offers digital gift cards and lets you gift a specific game through its own store.
Can you buy Steam gift cards on Amazon?
Steam gift cards exist in physical and digital formats and can be redeemed for items sold on Steam, including games, software, and hardware. Steam does not establish whether Amazon currently has a suitable listing in your marketplace. Search Amazon for Steam gift card and assess the actual product page rather than relying on old links, images, or search snippets. Steam describes its gift-card formats and use.

What to verify on an Amazon listing
- Whether the offer is a physical card, a code, or another product.
- Who the seller is, the face value, and how and when it will be delivered.
- Any region limitations or compatibility terms for the intended Steam account.
- The listing’s return terms. Amazon says gift cards and prepaid game cards are generally nonreturnable, except as required by law; check the product page. Amazon identifies an exception process for items that arrive damaged, defective, unusable, or materially different from the order. Read Amazon’s returns guidance.
Which way of giving Steam credit or a game fits?
The main choice is between a physical card, flexible wallet credit delivered through Steam, and a specific game bought as a gift. Availability and restrictions can depend on the recipient’s country and the current checkout flow.

How Steam Wallet Codes work
Redeem a Wallet Code while signed in to the Steam account that should receive the balance. Steam converts the amount to that account’s Wallet currency upon redemption, regardless of where the code was purchased. See Steam’s Wallet Code redemption information.
Steam balance is not the same as Amazon balance. Amazon Pay says Amazon Gift Cards cannot be used to pay third-party merchants through Amazon Pay. Do not give an Amazon claim code to someone who says it is needed to pay a person or business. Amazon Pay explains its gift-card restriction; Amazon also warns about gift-card payment scams.

Choose the safer purchase route
- If considering Amazon: search for “Steam gift card,” open the current product page, and verify format, seller, value, delivery, regional terms, and returns before paying.
- If you want flexible Steam credit: use Steam’s digital gift-card flow, select the recipient, and confirm any country restriction shown at checkout.
- If you know which game they want: use Steam’s game-gifting option and verify the recipient before completing the purchase.
- If you have a Wallet Code: sign in to the intended Steam account and redeem it there; the balance is converted to that Wallet’s currency.
Do not disguise your residence to bypass geographic restrictions or local pricing. Steam’s Subscriber Agreement prohibits doing so: Steam Subscriber Agreement.
