Its quoted price came from project-distributed presale materials, not a current market quote. XRP and MUTM are different kinds of crypto exposure, and neither the XRP outlook nor the MUTM promotion is a dependable basis for expecting a particular return.
What does the $0.04 protocol refer to?
The headline’s reference is to Mutuum Finance (MUTM), which is presented as an early-stage decentralized-finance lending protocol and token. The headline was published March 18, 2026; its $0.04 reference is historical, not evidence of MUTM’s price today. The search result associated with that headline had a mismatched yacht-rental URL slug, so it is not a sound clean citation for the crypto claim.
Mutuum Finance distributed promotional releases through GlobeNewswire in January and February 2026. The February release described MUTM as priced at $0.04 in a presale phase and said its V1 protocol was active on the Sepolia testnet. The January release also described a Phase 7 price of $0.04 and included project-supplied token-supply, presale, and planned launch-price claims. The available materials do not establish MUTM’s current price, whether a presale is still open, or whether and where the protocol is now deployed. A testnet reference describes a project’s stated development status at the time; it does not establish a live production service or prove that users can safely lend or borrow through it.

Can XRP reclaim $3?
It is possible, but the available evidence does not make it predictable. BeInCrypto’s September 30, 2026 outlook described mixed conditions for XRP entering October. It reported that XRP had gained 48% in Q3 and remained below a July 2025 high. A price target is an opinion about a volatile asset, not a promise. Market conditions can change, and a past quarterly gain cannot establish a future price. “Experts turn attention” in a headline should therefore be read as a description of commentary, not a consensus forecast or a reliable signal to buy.

Why XRP and MUTM are not like-for-like investments
