No. The application deadline was 23 August 2025, so candidates cannot apply to this recruitment cycle now. The notice was dated 24 July 2025. Do not rely on this old deadline as an indication of when a future BSF recruitment will open.
Who could apply, and why trade-specific eligibility mattered
The notice invited male and female Indian citizens. Eligibility was not identical across all trades: candidates needed to review the requirements for their chosen trade, including educational and trade-experience certificates, age, physical standards, and physical-efficiency requirements.

Pay and listed benefits
The notice specified Pay Matrix Level 3, with a scale of ₹21,700–69,100, plus allowances admissible to Central Government employees. It also named ration allowance, medical assistance, free accommodation, and free leave pass as admissible benefits. The notice does not establish an individual employee’s take-home pay; that depends on applicable allowances and deductions.
