These are separate claims, not evidence for one another. In particular, a ledger project involving fund shares is not the same thing as an exchange-traded fund that invests in XRP.
What Ripple announced in Brazil
Ripple’s September 29, 2026 announcement says CSD BR would use the XRP Ledger (XRPL) as an additional layer to record and audit financial assets, starting with shares in BTG Pactual investment funds. The announcement describes a permissioned environment for corporate and banking clients in Brazil, subject to KYC and anti-money-laundering procedures.
Crucially, Ripple says CSD BR’s own systems remain the official source of record for registration, deposit, and settlement. The announcement therefore describes an additional records layer; it does not announce a Brazilian XRP exchange-traded fund or a regulatory approval for one.

Why the U.S. Grayscale filing does not prove Brazilian approval
A U.S. SEC Form 8-K filed October 5, 2026 concerns the Grayscale XRP Trust ETF, whose shares trade as GXRP on NYSE Arca. It reports amendments allowing specified authorized participants to create and redeem shares in-kind as well as in cash. It also describes Anchorage Digital custody for a portion of the XRP holdings, with Coinbase remaining the primary custodian.
That filing concerns a U.S.-listed fund and its operating arrangements. It is not a Brazilian regulatory decision, and it does not establish that Brazil approved an XRP ETF.

What is known about the Trump and XYZ claims
Trump and Ripple
The reviewed searches did not identify an original Trump post, transcript, or other attributable statement sharing Ripple news. Without the original material, the claim should not be attributed to him as fact. The absence of a result in those searches is not proof that no such statement exists.
XYZ and the alleged $8 million presale
A TechBullion archive excerpt links the headline to XYZVerse and an $8 million milestone. That secondary reference does not independently confirm that XYZ means XYZVerse, that $8 million was raised, or that a presale has finished. No primary sale record is established here, so neither the amount nor completion status should be treated as verified.

How to read the headline as a prospective investor
- For an ETF claim: look for a decision or listing announcement from the relevant Brazilian regulator, exchange, or fund issuer. A company announcement about ledger infrastructure is not a substitute.
- For a public statement: check for the original post, recording, transcript, or an attributable official account rather than a headline repeating the claim.
- For a presale milestone: seek the project’s own sale terms and records that substantiate the amount and whether the sale is complete. A secondary archive excerpt alone is not confirmation.
Until primary records support those claims, distinguish the confirmed U.S. fund filing and Ripple’s described Brazilian recordkeeping project from the unverified headline assertions. The sources reviewed do not establish investment performance or imply that any of these developments makes XRP or a presale token a suitable investment.
