The application deadline for Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) recruitment to 57 consumer-commission posts was March 6, 2025, and has passed. The recruitment covered three advertisements for Judicial Member positions in state commissions and President/Member positions in district commissions.

What was the application deadline and fee?
The reported last date to apply was March 6, 2025. Scroll reported a fee of Rs 200 for Bihar SC/ST candidates, female candidates from any category, and candidates with disabilities; the reported fee for other categories was Rs 750. These fee details are attributed to Scroll’s report because the official notification could not be retrieved for independent verification.

- Register, then sign in to the application portal.
- Complete and submit the application form.
- Pay the applicable fee online and keep a printout of the submitted form.
What happened after applications closed?
The application deadline and subsequent examination-calendar entries refer to different stages of the recruitment. BPSC’s calendar dated July 23, 2025 listed written examinations for these 57 posts from May 3 to May 5, 2025. A later BPSC calendar dated February 17, 2026 said departmental direction was awaited in light of a Supreme Court order. That status note does not establish the final outcome of the recruitment.
