The BPSC Assistant Engineer (AE) 2025 admit card was reported released on 14 July 2025. The written examination was scheduled for 17–19 July 2025, so those dates have passed. For later recruitment or court-related updates, check BPSC’s official notices rather than relying on this historical schedule.
Which BPSC AE recruitment did the notice cover?
The notice concerned Assistant Engineer recruitment in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering under Advertisement Nos. 29/2025, 30/2025 and 31/2025. The Indian Express reported 1,024 vacancies: 984 Civil, 36 Mechanical and 4 Electrical. Scroll also reported a total of 1,024 posts; these figures are reported vacancy totals, not a separately verified count. The Indian Express and Scroll covered the recruitment.
What were the release and examination dates?
Contemporaneous reports said the admit card became available on 14 July 2025. The written examination was scheduled across 17, 18 and 19 July 2025, with reported shifts from 11 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. These are past dates, not a current exam schedule. The Indian Express report, published 15 July 2025, and Scroll’s 11 July 2025 report carried the release information.
What did candidates reportedly need to do?
The Indian Express described the following process and exam-day instructions at the time. They are historical reporting, not a walkthrough for a currently available card. The official notice PDF could not be retrieved for independent confirmation of these operational details.
- Log in to the online BPSC dashboard using the registration username and password.
- Select “Download Admit Card” and download the e-admit card. The report said it showed the district and centre code; detailed centre information was to appear on the dashboard from 16 July 2025.
- Print two copies. The report said one copy was to be signed before the invigilator and submitted.
- The reported entry cutoff was 10 a.m. Candidates were advised to arrive by 9 a.m. and report at least two hours before the exam start.
The report also said admit cards would not be mailed. These instructions were published by The Indian Express.

BPSC’s exam-calendar page lists the combined 2025 AE examination with the 17–19 July 2025 schedule and includes the remark “Stay orders from Honourable High Court.” That brief entry does not establish what the court stayed, the orders’ scope or current status, or the effect on any candidate or result.
