No. Scroll.in reported on October 16, 2024, that BPSC extended the application deadline to November 4, 2024. That date has passed, so applicants cannot use the old 70th CCE deadline to submit a new application now. The 70th CCE is a past recruitment cycle, not a live application call.
The original “closes soon” wording is therefore stale. Check BPSC’s official website for current recruitment notices rather than relying on old application links or headlines.
Why do reports list different vacancy totals?
The figures refer to different dated records, not one confirmed current opening count. The initial 2024 notification coverage, the later reported increase, and BPSC’s 2026 revised examination calendar show different totals.

The BPSC Online Application Portal provides general account and registration instructions. It says, “Please use your Username/ password or Forget Username/ password option ONLY if you have already applied for 69th or 70th CCE Exam.” It also says, “All other candidates shall complete registration using One Time Registration Link.” These are portal account instructions; they do not reopen the 70th CCE application window.
- Visit the official BPSC website and check the latest notices for an active recruitment cycle.
- For portal access, go to the BPSC online application portal and follow the instructions shown there.
- If you previously applied for the 69th or 70th CCE, use your existing username and password or the portal’s account-recovery option. Otherwise, follow the portal’s One Time Registration instructions for the relevant application.
Do not treat a general registration or login page as evidence that applications for the 70th CCE are being accepted. Eligibility, fees, and post-wise vacancy allocation are not established by the general portal guidance; consult the specific BPSC advertisement for any active recruitment.
