Borderlands 4 was reported 20% off on Steam on October 14, 2025, a little over a month after its September 12 launch. GamesRadar said the offer covered the Standard, Deluxe, and Super Deluxe editions and was scheduled to end October 20, 2025. That promotion has expired; this is a historical price report, not a current deal.
What the October 2025 Steam discount covered
GamesRadar’s October 14, 2025 report described a 20% discount on Steam for all three editions of Borderlands 4, with the offer scheduled through October 20. The report did not establish the exact time the discount began. The specific historical sale listing and regional sale prices are not verified here, so the percentage should not be used to infer a price in any particular currency or region.

Launch date, platforms, and announced US prices
2K announced that Borderlands 4 would launch on September 12, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Its June 2025 announcement listed US launch prices of $69.99 for Standard, $99.99 for Deluxe, and $129.99 for Super Deluxe. These are launch prices, not prices during the reported Steam sale.
| Edition | US launch price announced by 2K | Included content described by 2K |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $69.99 | Base game |
| Deluxe | $99.99 | Base game, Bounty Pack Bundle, and related digital items |
| Super Deluxe | $129.99 | Deluxe content plus the Vault Hunter Pack and Ornate Order Pack |
These figures and edition details come from 2K’s June 16, 2025 announcement. Because the sale’s regional listings are not established, applying 20% to the US launch prices would produce estimates, not confirmed historical Steam prices.

What the timing does—and does not—tell buyers
The dates support describing the promotion as arriving just over a month after launch: Borderlands 4 released September 12, and GamesRadar reported the discount on October 14. The dates do not establish the promotion’s exact start date or why the publisher discounted the game. A price cut by itself is not evidence of weak sales or any particular business decision.
GamesRadar also reported that Steam reviews were marked “Mixed,” with more than 34,000 submissions at the time of its October 14 article. That is a dated snapshot, not a current review status or count.

PC availability beyond Steam
2K’s launch announcement listed both Steam and the Epic Games Store for PC. It also said that a purchase on either store would be playable through NVIDIA GeForce NOW. That statement concerns platform availability; it does not establish a GeForce NOW price, current service terms, or access to the expired Steam discount. See Steam’s September 8, 2025 launch-times announcement for the official global launch schedule.
