Bluehost’s public affiliate offer advertises $65 or more per qualified sale and a 30-day tracking window, but neither figure guarantees a commission. Approval, eligible purchases, validation, payment timing and promotional rules are governed by the current terms in Impact. These FAQs summarize Bluehost’s published details as of October 4, 2026.
How do I join the Bluehost affiliate program?
Apply through the affiliate link on Bluehost’s affiliate page, which directs applicants to Impact. Bluehost says it uses Impact for affiliate tracking, reporting and account operations. If approved, you can access your referral link and marketing materials through the affiliate dashboard.
Bluehost says applications are reviewed manually and that it aims to approve them in about 48 hours during regular business hours, excluding holidays. That is an estimate, not a guaranteed response time. The landing-page FAQ says applications may be declined if a site does not meet its guidelines or lacks sufficient traffic or development work.
Do I need to be a Bluehost customer to join?
No. Bluehost says you do not have to be an existing customer to apply. Approval is still required, and Bluehost does not publish an approval-rate guarantee.

What is the commission structure and cookie length?
Bluehost’s public landing page advertises $65 or more per qualified sale. Its detailed FAQ describes a one-time commission when a referred customer buys an eligible 12- or 36-month hosting package. The current Impact insertion order sets the qualification details, so the headline amount should not be treated as a payment for every click, signup or purchase.
Bluehost advertises a 30-day cookie or tracking period. The dashboard reports tracking and performance, but attribution mechanics, exceptions and current eligibility conditions should be checked in the live Impact terms. Bluehost also says it may withhold or reject commissions linked to apparently fraudulent accounts or a high cancellation rate.

How and when will I get paid?
Bluehost’s public pages give different descriptions of payment timing. Its detailed FAQ says commissions are processed “About 45 days after the end of the month in which the credit is recorded (or a qualified transaction was made).” The landing-page FAQ instead says commissions are processed “within 45–70 days after a sale” and that pending commissions are issued after validation. Those descriptions use different timing anchors; consult the current Impact account terms for the schedule that applies to your account rather than relying on a specific payment date.
Bluehost’s detailed FAQ lists PayPal and Electronic Funds Transfer as withdrawal methods; its landing-page FAQ describes PayPal or direct deposit. The detailed FAQ states that PayPal has a 2% processing fee capped at $20. Available options and fees may depend on your Impact account and location, so confirm them in Impact before choosing a payment method.

How do you track the sales?
Bluehost says referrals are tracked through Impact and that affiliates can view tracking and performance in the affiliate dashboard. The public FAQ advertises a 30-day tracking period; the current account terms determine the precise attribution rules and which transactions qualify for commission.
Why was my Bluehost affiliate application declined?
Bluehost’s landing-page FAQ identifies failure to meet program guidelines, insufficient site traffic or insufficient development work as possible reasons. The public pages do not establish a minimum traffic figure or guarantee that meeting a particular threshold will secure approval. Review your site for relevance, completeness and compliance, then check Bluehost’s application guidance before applying again.

What am I not allowed to do as an affiliate?
Bluehost’s public FAQ says affiliates may not use unapproved coupon codes, misleading advertising or search-engine-marketing campaigns without prior approval. It also says violations can lead to termination. These are public summaries; the current affiliate agreement controls the full restrictions.
Bluehost says affiliates must disclose their relationship with the company. Disclosure obligations can vary by jurisdiction and context; for U.S. guidance, consult the FTC’s Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers and obtain legal advice where appropriate.

Where should I verify the current terms?
Check Bluehost’s affiliate program page for its public offer and application link, then review the current insertion order and agreement in your Impact account. In particular, verify eligible plans, commission validation, attribution rules, payment timing, payment methods and restrictions before promoting the program.
