The $1 BlockDAG (BDAG) price target for 2025 was published by BlockDAG itself on December 6, 2024. It was a project forecast, not an independently verified prediction—and the available sources do not establish that BDAG reached $1 or was a top-performing cryptocurrency. Because 2025 has passed, the useful question now is what that forecast meant and what evidence would be needed to assess BDAG’s value today.
Where did the $1 BlockDAG price prediction come from?
BlockDAG Network’s December 6, 2024 article, “BlockDAG Price Prediction For 2025 and 2030 – Will BDAG Transform Crypto?”, named $1 as a target for 2025. The same article separately forecast $0.80 after launch. These were predictions published by the project, not observed prices or an independent analyst consensus. The cited material does not show that either price was reached.
A later BlockDAG article, published September 9, 2025, framed $0.50 to $1 as a possible price within two to five years, conditional on the broader market entering another bullish cycle. That is also a promotional, conditional scenario rather than a dependable forecast: “Can BlockDAG Reach $1? Forecasting the Revolutionary Coin”.
Did BDAG reach $1 in 2025?
The reviewed sources do not independently verify a BDAG market price for 2025, so they are not enough to confirm that the token reached $1. Nor do they establish that BDAG was a “top-performing” cryptocurrency: that claim would require a defined comparison set, period, and independently checked performance data.

Project-reported launch milestones came after the forecast year. BlockDAG’s mainnet page gives February 10, 2026, as the mainnet launch date, February 11, 2026, as the token generation event, and March 5, 2026, as the start of exchange-listing milestones. Those dates do not prove any particular trading price.
What would a $1 BDAG price imply?
BlockDAG’s tokenomics page states a total supply of 150 billion BDAG: 50 billion each for existing holders and mining rewards, and 25 billion each for presale and ecosystem allocations. Multiplying the stated total supply by $1 gives an implied fully diluted valuation of $150 billion. This is supply-based arithmetic, not evidence that the market could or would value BDAG at that level.

Fully diluted valuation uses total supply; it is not the same as market capitalization based on tokens currently circulating. Circulating supply, unlock timing, and the amount of BDAG available to trade can materially affect the interpretation of a price. The tokenomics figure alone does not answer those questions.
How to assess a current BDAG price claim
A price target is more useful when evaluated against observable market and network evidence, not just a project forecast. Before relying on a current price or deciding what a forecast means, check:

- Price and liquidity: Confirm the live trading pair, timestamp, and trading volume on the exchange showing the quote. A displayed price is less informative if trading is thin or access is limited.
- Circulating supply and unlocks: Compare tokens currently circulating with total supply, and look for the timing and size of future releases. The stated allocation categories do not by themselves provide a complete unlock schedule.
- Network use: Look for evidence of adoption and actual activity rather than relying only on roadmap claims or launch announcements.
- Forecast conditions and timing: The later $0.50–$1 scenario depended on a bullish broader market and specified a two-to-five-year window. It should not be read as a fixed date or a guaranteed outcome.
- Source quality: The $1 forecasts cited here come from BlockDAG’s own publications. The reviewed material does not establish an independent forecast model, its author’s credentials, or a record showing how accurately earlier predictions performed.
What is known—and not known—about listings and mining
Exchange access can change. BlockDAG’s April 6, 2026 development update describes exchange expansion as ongoing, while the project FAQ says new exchange partnerships will be announced once confirmed and does not give a definitive complete list of tier-one listings. Check current exchange and project information rather than treating a roadmap or earlier announcement as confirmation of present availability: “Exchange Expansion & Roadmap Planning” and the BlockDAG FAQ.
The FAQ also says physical miner shipments have begun. That project statement does not verify miner performance, Amazon availability, or compatibility with generic mining hardware. Mining hardware is separate from the question of what BDAG trades for.

The sources support describing a project-issued $1 target for 2025 and a later, conditional $0.50–$1 scenario; they do not support stating either as a current or assured value. The 2025 target is now a past forecast, and the cited evidence does not independently establish today’s spot price, circulating supply, or a realized top-performer ranking. Any present-day valuation claim needs current market and on-chain data alongside the project’s supply figures.
