What does BlockDAG say BDAG is for?
BlockDAG’s documentation describes BDAG as the network’s native cryptocurrency, used for transactions, smart-contract execution and network security. Do the project’s launch and miner claims prove the network is live?
BlockDAG’s mainnet page presents token-generation, claims, swaps and exchange milestones with 2026 dates and project status labels. Other official-facing pages promote presale participation while also listing exchanges. Those statements do not, on their own, independently confirm live network operation or resolve the apparent difference in sale-status messaging. The pages’ status labels should be treated as project claims unless corroborated by evidence such as verifiable network activity, contract data and functioning exchange markets.

BlockDAG’s site also identifies X10, X30 and X100 miner hardware and reports 19,000 units as “being shipped.” That is an issuer-reported shipment figure; independent order, delivery and performance verification is not established here. It also does not establish profitability, hardware availability or compatibility for a prospective buyer.
Does the evidence show BlockDAG is a better choice than Litecoin or NEAR Protocol?
No. The available information does not provide a like-for-like comparison that supports putting BlockDAG ahead of either network. In particular, it does not establish comparable evidence across network use, development activity, security, token issuance, liquidity or market performance. A presale target, token allocation and roadmap are not substitutes for those measures.

That is not a finding that Litecoin or NEAR Protocol is superior. It means the comparative claim is unsubstantiated by the evidence available here. Without consistent, current sources for all three projects and a defined measure of “better to watch,” a ranking would be misleading.
What should a prospective buyer verify?
Before committing money, separate the project’s stated plans from facts you can independently check. These steps help avoid treating a target, roadmap label or marketing claim as proof of proceeds or operation.

- Verify fundraising: Look for independently documented evidence of the amount raised and its date. Do not treat the $600 million target as money received or the unverified $65 million headline figure as confirmed.
- Check the token and terms: Confirm the token contract, supply, allocation, vesting schedule and any bonus-token lock. Compare the contract and sale terms with the project’s published figures and the terms for your own allocation.
- Confirm network operation: Check verifiable on-chain activity and whether the claimed transaction, smart-contract and security functions are operational. A roadmap status label is not the same as independent confirmation.
- Check exchange claims directly: Confirm whether a listing is active, whether BDAG can actually be deposited and withdrawn, and whether trading has meaningful liquidity. A page that names exchanges alone does not establish those conditions.
- Evaluate miner claims separately: Seek independent evidence of delivery, hardware performance, compatibility and operating costs. A reported shipment count does not show that a particular miner is available or can earn a profit.
- Compare on the same basis: For BlockDAG, Litecoin and NEAR Protocol, use current evidence on network use, development, security, supply and issuance, liquidity and market performance. Decide in advance which factors matter to your decision rather than relying on a broad “crypto to watch” claim.
Presales and crypto assets can involve substantial risk, including loss of the amount invested. Nothing in the project-published figures above establishes a future token price, resale market, return or ability to sell when desired.
