Blockchain Life 2024 was scheduled for October 22–23 at Festival Arena, InterContinental Dubai Festival City, as the forum’s 13th edition. Its advertised lineup brought together names from crypto, blockchain infrastructure, wallets, tokenization, Web3 gaming and cloud services. The figures and roster below describe what organizers announced before the event; they do not establish who ultimately attended or how many people and exhibitors were there.

When and where was Blockchain Life 2024?

The organizer announced the 13th edition for October 22–23, 2024. Official exhibition rules named Festival Arena at InterContinental Dubai Festival City in the United Arab Emirates as the venue. The organizer’s May 2024 announcement and exhibition rules provide those event details.

The rules described badges valid for both event days and scanning procedures for entry and exit. Those are historical operational details, not guidance for a future Blockchain Life event, where procedures may differ.

Which companies and industry figures were announced?

A United Press announcement distributed by Newsfile on October 21, 2024, named the following confirmed speakers ahead of the conference. The announcement is a pre-event roster; it is not an independent record that each person appeared, and roles reflect how the release identified them at that time. Read the contemporaneous speaker announcement.

  • Stablecoins and crypto services: Paolo Ardoino of Tether; Eowyn Chen of Trust Wallet; Zied Brini of MetaMask.
  • Web3 gaming and digital assets: Yat Siu of Animoca Brands; Sasha Plotvinov of Notcoin.
  • Wallet hardware: Pascal Gauthier of Ledger.
  • Blockchain foundations and networks: Frederik Gregaard of Cardano Foundation; Xinxi Wang of Litecoin Foundation; Sunny Lu of VeChain; Arthur Breitman of Tezos; Sunny Aggarwal of Osmosis Labs; Kostas Chalkias of Sui/Mysten Labs; Mustafa Al-Bassam of Celestia Labs.
  • Trading, investment and listings: Charles d’Haussy of dYdX Foundation; Sergei Khitrov of Listing.Help and Jets Capital; Andrei Grachev of DWF Labs; Akshat Vaidya of Maelstrom Fund.
  • Regional blockchain and cloud services: Dr. Marwan Alzarouni of Dubai Blockchain Center; Tiago Henriques of Google Cloud.

The mix crossed several parts of the industry rather than focusing on a single token or protocol: consumer wallets and hardware, blockchain ecosystems, investment and exchange-related organizations, gaming, and cloud infrastructure.

What did the event advertise?

Organizer materials described an expo alongside two days of event participation, with company showcases for products, services and technologies. The event announcement also promoted expert talks and panels and an afterparty for VIP ticket holders and speakers. These were advertised elements of the program, not independently verified post-event outcomes.

The sponsorship prospectus promoted the event to potential exhibitors and sponsors, presenting it as an international gathering. Its scale figures should be read as marketing claims, not audited results:

  • More than 10,000 attendees from 120 countries expected: the organizer’s May 2024 forecast, not a final attendance count.
  • 120+ countries: reach advertised in the sponsorship prospectus.
  • 200+ speakers: advertised in the prospectus, not a verified final speaker total.
  • 180+ booths: advertised in the prospectus, not a verified final booth count.

The forecast appeared in the organizer’s announcement; the promotional speaker and booth figures appeared in its sponsorship materials.

What can be established about attendance and results?

The available event announcements, exhibition rules, prospectus and pre-event speaker release establish the planned dates, venue, advertised format, expected scale and announced roster. They do not establish independently verified attendance, final booth or speaker counts, business deals, or a post-event assessment. It would therefore be misleading to present the organizer’s forecasts as the event’s actual results.
