Blockchain Life 2024 announced its first speaker wave in July 2024, naming executives and founders associated with Tether, Ledger, TON, Animoca Brands and other crypto and Web3 organizations. The event was held October 22–23, 2024, at Festival Arena in Dubai, so the announcement is now a historical preview—not a current ticket offer or proof that every listed speaker appeared.
Who was in the initial speaker announcement?
The July 2024 release described these as the first speakers, not a complete or final agenda. The roles below are those attributed in that announcement.

The July announcement presented a broad mix rather than a roster from one corner of crypto: stablecoins, custody, wallets, exchanges, gaming, blockchain infrastructure, and crypto-related media and capital markets.
Why did the lineup draw attention?
The organizations represented business models that matter to different parts of the crypto economy. Tether is associated with stablecoins and payments; Ledger with hardware wallets and self-custody; Trust Wallet with wallet infrastructure; and BingX with exchange services and trading. TON Foundation and Notcoin represented the Telegram-linked ecosystem, while Animoca Brands and The Sandbox brought a focus on Web3 gaming and digital property.
#1 Best Overall
Celestia, Osmosis, and Litecoin Foundation added infrastructure perspectives. Forbes and Jets Capital brought media and capital-markets associations. That range helps explain the appeal of the announcement to founders, developers, investors, service providers, and industry observers, but a speaker’s presence on a promotional list is not an endorsement of a company, product, or investment.
When and where did Blockchain Life 2024 take place?
The event was held on October 22–23, 2024, at Festival Arena in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The organizer described it as the conference’s 13th edition. The event announcement and later official event materials identify the dates and venue.
Rank #2
What did the event promote?
Organizer materials described keynote presentations, panel discussions, networking, a two-stage conference program, and a crypto and Web3 expo, alongside an official after-party and startup- and awards-related programming. These were features promoted before the event; the announcements do not establish how each element was delivered or who ultimately took part.

Translation for presentations
An official notice said attendees could scan a QR code on their badge to read real-time text translation and use their own headphones for audio translation. It advertised support for more than 70 languages and said the service was included with the ticket. That description applies to the advertised presentation translation; it does not establish translation coverage for informal networking or the accuracy of every translation. The organizer’s translation notice gives the feature details.
Rank #3
Trading tournament
The organizer described a simulated trading competition using virtual trading pairs under real-market conditions, rather than trading with participants’ real capital. It was scheduled for October 14–22, with winners to be announced October 23. Those were the announced format and dates, not evidence of tournament results. The tournament announcement outlined the competition.
How should attendance and expo claims be read?
Pre-event materials projected more than 10,000 attendees or influential figures and participants from more than 120 countries. These are organizer claims, not independently verified attendance results in the cited materials. The release’s description of the event as the largest crypto expo is likewise promotional.
Rank #4
There is also a discrepancy in the advertised expo size: the syndicated speaker release said more than 200 booths, while an official event update said more than 180. The available materials do not reconcile those figures. The OKX booth update is one official reference for the lower figure.

The July release said more speakers would be announced, and later syndicated material carried a different or expanded list, including Justin Sun, Yat Siu, Pascal Gauthier, Marwan Alzarouni, Sunny Lu, Tiago Henriques, and Zied Brini. The versions do not establish which roster was final, and the cited announcements alone do not verify that every named person spoke on stage. The July names should therefore be understood as an initial announced wave, not a confirmed attendance record.
The original announcement and ticket-related promotions concerned the 2024 event. They do not provide a current way to attend that edition; any later event should be checked through its own current official information.
