Blast’s announced shutdown plan asks users to withdraw assets to Ethereum mainnet, including balances held in Blast PWA. The notice says withdrawals would pause temporarily while Blast processes its Lido assets, then resume with a 24-hour delay. It sets October 26, 2026, as the final day for the normal Blast interface—but says assets should remain withdrawable afterward through direct interaction with Blast bridge contracts on Ethereum L1. These are announced plans, not confirmation of the network’s live status; check Blast’s verified channels before making a transaction.

What is the Blast withdrawal deadline?

Blast’s shutdown notice names October 26, 2026 as the last day to use the normal Blast interface for withdrawals. The notice does not say that assets become unrecoverable on that date. Instead, it says users can still withdraw afterward by interacting directly with Blast bridge contracts on Ethereum L1.

The notice also says Blast would publish detailed instructions for that direct-contract route before the deadline. The available announcement does not establish whether those instructions have since been published. Confirm the deadline and instructions through Blast’s verified channels before relying on them.

Can I withdraw after October 26?

According to Blast’s announcement, yes: assets are intended to remain withdrawable after October 26, 2026, but users would need to interact directly with the Blast bridge contracts on Ethereum L1 rather than use the normal interface. Direct contract interaction is a different route; the notice does not establish that it is suitable for every user or provide enough detail to safely walk through it.

Do not guess at contract addresses, transaction parameters, or instructions from unofficial posts. Use only directions confirmed through Blast’s verified channels, and verify the destination and transaction details before signing.

Why are Blast withdrawals paused?

The shutdown notice says withdrawals would be temporarily unavailable while Blast processes its Lido assets, a task estimated to take approximately one week. After that work, Blast expected withdrawals to resume with a 24-hour delay. The notice’s timing describes the announced plan; it does not confirm whether the pause is over or whether that delay is currently active.

Blast said it was winding down because it considered ongoing network maintenance costs higher than Layer 2 revenue and saw no credible path to economic sustainability. That is the team’s stated rationale, not an independently audited finding.

How do I withdraw Blast assets to Ethereum?

The announcement asks users to move assets from Blast to Ethereum mainnet, including balances held in Blast PWA. It identifies the destination and describes the normal interface before the cutoff, but does not provide a complete, verified click-by-click withdrawal procedure or specify which assets, application positions, or wallet configurations are covered.

  1. Check current status. Look for a current shutdown or withdrawal update on Blast’s verified official channels. Confirm whether withdrawals are available and whether the announced 24-hour delay applies.
  2. Use the official route. If the normal Blast interface is still available, confirm you have reached Blast’s official site before connecting a wallet. The official bridge page displayed Deposit, Withdraw, and History controls and a Connect Wallet button when inspected on October 4, 2026, but those visible controls do not prove withdrawals are enabled.
  3. Review the transaction before signing. Check the selected asset, destination network, wallet address, and any displayed delay or fee. Do not approve a transaction you do not understand.
  4. For post-deadline withdrawals, wait for verified instructions. Blast’s notice says the later route requires direct interaction with bridge contracts on Ethereum L1, but the available notice does not supply the promised detailed instructions.

Keep your recovery phrase and private keys private. Neither Blast’s announcement nor the reviewed bridge page establishes a wallet compatibility list, endorses a specific wallet provider, or names a dedicated support contact. Follow only support routes published through Blast’s verified channels.

What does the official bridge page show?

The Blast bridge page displayed Deposit, Withdraw, and History controls, a Connect Wallet button, and ETH and BLAST token selectors when accessed on October 4, 2026. Its visible copy also continued to promote Points and yield. These are observations of page content, not proof of current withdrawal availability or a replacement for shutdown instructions.

Where does the shutdown information come from?

The shutdown text was available as a Reddit reproduction linking to Blast’s X post; direct retrieval of the X post was unavailable. The reported dates and withdrawal process should therefore be treated as Blast’s announced plan, rather than a live operational confirmation. The separate bridge page is official, but its promotional copy does not resolve the shutdown status.
