How do Blackburn and Burnley’s reported wage bills compare?
The latest located figures are £24,602,778 for Blackburn Rovers for the year ended 30 June 2025, and £72,381,000 for Burnley FC Holdings for the year ended 31 July 2025. Both are reported wages extracted from accounts transcriptions, not verified totals for first-team player pay.

What do the wider 2024–25 accounts show?
Burnley
Burnley’s official accounts page describes the year ended 31 July 2025. The club reported turnover of £71.7 million, down from £133.6 million as it competed in the Championship, and a £59.0 million profit on disposal of player registrations. Burnley FC Holdings reported a £28.5 million post-tax loss. These figures show why a wage total alone does not describe the financial result: revenue, player trading and other costs also matter. Blackburn
Blackburn’s accounts transcription reports turnover of £23,697,198 and a £10,423,188 loss before tax for the year ended 30 June 2025. BBC Sport also reported the club’s 2024–25 loss as £10.4 million and quoted football finance expert Kieran Maguire on the relationship between income and wages (BBC Sport).
Who is the highest-paid player at each club?
There is no official club disclosure in the cited sources confirming either player’s salary. The available figures are estimates and refer to different seasons.

Burnley’s filing history records Velocity Capital (UK) Holdings Ltd as a person with significant control from October 2023. ALK Capital described Pace as its managing partner in a 2023 announcement (ALK Capital).
