In SalaryLeaks’ estimate for the 2025/26 season, Todd Cantwell is Blackburn Rovers’ highest-paid player at £30,000 a week. The figures below are third-party estimates, not salaries confirmed by the club, and the list includes several ties. A separate SalarySport page for 2026/27 puts Cantwell at £17,000 a week, so the two figures should not be treated as a single current rate.
Blackburn Rovers wages per week: the 2025/26 estimate
SalaryLeaks lists these ten players at the highest estimated weekly wages for Blackburn Rovers in 2025/26. The order within each tied wage band does not indicate a difference in pay.

|---|---|---|
| 1 | Todd Cantwell | £30,000 |
| 2 (tie) | Sean McLoughlin | £15,000 |
| 2 (tie) | Augustus Kargbo | £15,000 |

| 3 (tie) | Yuri Ribeiro | £12,000 |
| 4 | Sidnei Tavares | £10,000 |
SalaryLeaks’ Blackburn Rovers estimates also give Cantwell an annual figure of £1.6 million. That page estimates the first-team salary total at £14 million including bonuses; this squad-wide total is not directly comparable with an individual weekly salary estimate.
Why the estimates do not establish a current ranking
A SalarySport page labeled 2026/27 lists Cantwell at £17,000 per week and estimates Blackburn’s total wage bill at £205,975 per week. That is a different-season estimate from SalaryLeaks’ 2025/26 figure of £30,000 per week. The SalarySport page does not establish a complete 2026/27 top-ten ranking, so it cannot confirm that the names or order in the table remain current. See SalarySport’s Blackburn Rovers wage page.

These figures may differ because publishers cover different seasons or use different definitions of pay. The available pages do not make the estimates interchangeable with verified contract terms or a confirmed club payroll.
What Blackburn Rovers has confirmed about wages
Blackburn Rovers board minutes say the owners approved a higher wage budget and that the club had a strict wage structure. They do not disclose individual player salaries. The ranking therefore reflects SalaryLeaks’ estimates rather than pay information confirmed by the club. Read Blackburn Rovers’ board meeting minutes.

How much confidence to place in the list
The table is useful as a season-specific estimate, not as an authoritative payroll record. An Interesting Football article dated February 12, 2026 presents a similar list, but it says Sean McLoughlin joined Coventry City in 2025 while also listing him among Blackburn’s earners. That inconsistency makes it weak corroboration, and it should not be used to establish player details. See the Interesting Football article.
No reviewed official source publishes an individual-salary top ten, and the available third-party figures do not resolve the exact current order. Readers looking for Blackburn Rovers’ highest-paid player should therefore treat Cantwell’s £30,000 figure as SalaryLeaks’ 2025/26 estimate—not an officially verified or current-season salary.
