In September 2024, Nashwa Ahmed, owner of Blackbox Jeweller, offered a six-carat diamond ring described as worth $30,000 to the successful buyer of her five-bedroom Canning Vale home. The property was later identified in listings as 3 The Bridgeway. The listings repeated the offer subject to terms and conditions, but the available records do not confirm that the buyer received the ring.
What was offered to the home buyer?
PerthNow reported on 11 September 2024 that Ahmed would give the successful buyer of her Canning Vale house a six-carat diamond ring, valued in the report at $30,000 and said to come from her jewellery chain. The report did not specify the ring’s setting, metal, cut, grading certificate or appraisal documentation. Jeweller Magazine also described the ring as reportedly worth $30,000; neither account establishes an independent valuation.
Ahmed said she thought the offer would be “a cool thing to do.” She explained that the property was near one of her good-performing stores and that she saw the gift as a way to give back and spread good fortune. She also said Perth had been good to her and that she felt adopted by the city. These were her stated reasons for making the offer.
Which property was involved?
The home was a five-bedroom property in Canning Vale, later listed as 3 The Bridgeway. REIWA describes it as having two bathrooms. The original report said offers were being sought by 24 September 2024 and quoted agent Christy Sajan of Stratton Real Estate calling the incentive unusual for the seller’s market at the time. Sajan qualified his observation with “To my knowledge”; it should not be read as proof that no similar offer had ever been made.

Did the buyer receive the ring?
The property listings repeat that the buyer would also get a $30,000 diamond ring, subject to terms and conditions. That confirms the offer appeared in the marketing, not that it was fulfilled. The available reports and sale records do not establish whether the ring was transferred to the buyer.
What was the home’s sale price and date?
Both REIWA and realestate.com.au record a sale price of $1,050,000 for 3 The Bridgeway, but they give different dates:
