BioSig Technologies Is Now Streamex: What Its Tokenized Gold Product Means

BioSig Technologies is now Streamex Corp. The company’s GLDY product is designed as a gold-backed tokenized security, but its yield target is not guaranteed and key current terms require checking in offering documents.

BioSig Technologies, Inc. is now Streamex Corp. (formerly BioSig Technologies, Inc.), a Nasdaq-listed company whose STEX ticker reflects a 2025 name change. Streamex describes a business in real-world asset tokenization, with GLDY as its first named commodity-backed product, designed to provide exposure to gold through a tokenized security. The company also continues to report a biomedical technology business focused on its PURE EP electrophysiology platform.

How BioSig became Streamex

Streamex’s SEC filing says BioSig acquired Streamex Exchange Corporation on May 28, 2025. On September 12, 2025, the parent company changed its name from BioSig Technologies, Inc. to Streamex Corp. and its Nasdaq ticker from BSGM to STEX. The current name therefore reflects a corporate transition, not the disappearance of every legacy BioSig operation.

In a filing covering the period ended March 31, 2026, the company described two principal lines of business: digital infrastructure for tokenizing and exchanging real-world assets (RWAs), including commodity-linked products, and biomedical technology focused on PURE EP. That filing also described majority interests in ViralClear and BioSig AI. These disclosures matter when interpreting Streamex as a public company: it is not described solely as a tokenization platform.

What Streamex means by real-world asset tokenization

Tokenization represents interests in an asset or financial product through digital tokens recorded on a blockchain. Streamex says its platform is intended to support issuance, custody integration, compliance, liquidity and on-chain settlement for commodity-backed products, starting with gold. Those are the company’s stated platform capabilities and strategy; they do not, by themselves, establish that every function is currently available for every investor or product.

The distinction between a token and the underlying commodity is important. A tokenized security designed to track gold is not automatically the same as owning a gold bar, having a direct claim to specific bullion, or having the right to redeem a token for metal. The terms governing legal ownership, custody, transfers and redemption depend on the product’s current offering documents.

What GLDY is designed to do

Streamex calls GLDY its first commodity-backed tokenized product. A 2026 SEC registration statement describes GLDY as a tokenized gold security intended to provide spot gold price exposure backed by physical bullion, with yield paid in additional ounces of gold. The filing describes access for accredited and qualified investors, but that description should not be treated as confirmation of current eligibility, availability or terms for every offering.

The company says it may generate revenue from tokenization fees, trading fees and yield spreads, and its filing discusses possible expansion into industrial metals, energy royalties and other RWAs. These are descriptions of a business model and potential plans, not evidence that all those products or revenue streams are operating today.

What Streamex reported about GLDY in September 2026

In a September 24, 2026 company release, Streamex said an institutional investment manager had launched a strategy using GLDY for its long-gold position. The company reported an initial $1,000,000 allocation from a leading institutional investor; any additional investment was discretionary and dependent on the strategy’s performance. This is an issuer-reported initial allocation, not a continuing commitment, independently verified assets-under-management figure or proof of broad investor adoption.

The same release said the sixth consecutive monthly GLDY yield distribution had been paid in September 2026. It described a 3.5% annualized yield as a target, expressly not guaranteed, and identified risks including counterparty default. The company also said reserves could be viewed through a Chainlink Proof of Reserves oracle. That statement does not establish the scope of an independent audit or settle the legal and practical questions of custody, redemption and investor recourse.

CEO Henry McPhie said in the September 24 release: “During our second quarter earnings call, we told investors what to hold us to over the following ninety days, and converting institutional allocations into GLDY was at the top of that list.” This is management’s account of a stated milestone, not independent evidence of investment performance or product quality.

What is—and is not—established about GLDY

Physical bullion backing and a yield target do not answer all the questions a prospective investor needs to resolve. The materials described here do not establish the full current custody arrangements, independent audit scope, redemption rights, or all eligibility and transfer restrictions. Nor does a reserve-visibility tool alone show what a holder can legally claim or how a claim would be handled in a dispute or insolvency.

Before evaluating GLDY, consult the current offering documents and filings for the specific issuance. Check the legal structure and issuer, how bullion is held and verified, what the token entitles its holder to, whether and how redemption is possible, transfer and liquidity limits, eligibility requirements, fees, and the source and conditions of any yield. Do not infer direct bullion ownership or unrestricted transferability from the words “gold-backed” or “tokenized.”

Streamex’s Monetary Metals partnership

A September 8, 2025 Tokenized Yield Partnership Agreement identifies BioSig Technologies, Inc., doing business as StreamEx, and Monetary Metals & Co. as parties. It describes Monetary Metals’ precious-metal lease and bond programs and Streamex’s aim to tokenize yield generated by those products. The agreement supports describing a documented commercial partnership; it does not establish an affiliate program, consumer signup offer or commission arrangement.
