The Bihar Vidhan Sabha Secretariat’s 2024 recruitment round advertised 109 vacancies across nine post categories. Applications closed on February 15, 2024, and the fee-payment deadline was February 17, 2024; this is not an open application. For later test, result or verification updates, check the Secretariat’s official recruitment notice archive.
What the 2024 recruitment covered
The recruitment included these nine categories: Assistant Section Officer, Assistant Care Taker, Junior Clerk, Reporter, Personal Assistant, Stenographer, Library Attendant, Office Attendant (Darban), and Office Attendant (Mali/Safai Karmi/Farrash). Application and fee deadlines
The online application deadline was February 15, 2024. The fee-payment deadline was February 17, 2024, according to Scroll.in’s announcement published January 30, 2024. Both dates have passed, so the old application instructions should not be treated as a route to apply now.
What applicants were instructed to do
At the time, the announcement directed applicants to use the Secretariat website and follow the recruitment link for their chosen post. The stated sequence was:
Rank #2
- Visit the official Bihar Vidhan Sabha website and open the Recruitment section.
- Select the link for the relevant post.
- Register and complete the application form.
- Pay the application fee, submit the form, and keep a printout.
Those steps describe the 2024 process only. They do not mean that registration or fee payment remains available.
Where to check later-stage updates
The Secretariat’s official recruitment notice archive contains later-stage material, including test notices and results. Use that archive for current updates or outcome information rather than relying on the closed application announcement. Find the relevant 2024 notice by matching its advertisement number and post group.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsEligibility, pay and selection varied by post
The available summary does not establish a single age limit, educational qualification, salary, fee, vacancy allocation or selection process for all nine categories. Because the posts were issued under four separate advertisements, those details may differ by role. Open the applicable 2024 notice from the official advertisement index before relying on any eligibility or selection information.
