No—you cannot apply now for Bihar BTSC Staff Nurse Advertisement 23/2025. The amended application window ended on 13 June 2025, and BTSC’s recruitment archive marks the listing closed. BTSC’s Important Notices page later listed a result notice for the recruitment dated 27 August 2026; that listing alone does not establish that every appointment process is complete.
What is the status of the 11,389-post recruitment?
The Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) advertised 11,389 Staff Nurse vacancies for the Bihar Health Department under Advertisement 23/2025. The official recruitment archive marks the relisted application closed, so the old application link is not a route to apply now. Check BTSC’s recruitment archive for any newer recruitment notice rather than assuming a future vacancy is a continuation of this one.
BTSC’s Important Notices page lists “Result for the Post of Staff Nurse under the Advt. No- 23/2025,” dated 27 August 2026. This confirms that BTSC listed a result notice; the listing by itself does not show the detailed result or establish appointment completion for every candidate.
Which application dates applied?
BTSC’s amendment, Notice No. 1712, dated 6 June 2025, changed the application schedule. The dates in the original notice and the later relisted window are distinct:
#1 Best Overall
| Stage | Dates | What they mean |
|---|---|---|
| Original online application period | 25 April–23 May 2025 | The amendment states these were the original application dates. |
| Relisted application period | 7–13 June 2025 | The amendment extended the online application period through 13 June. |
| Payment deadline for relisted window | 14 June 2025 | The recruitment archive records this as the last day for payment. |
The archive also records registration through 24 May 2025 for the original listing, while its application deadline was 23 May. For the relisted notice, it records registration from 7 June, an application deadline of 13 June, and payment through 14 June. The official amendment and archive are available in the BTSC amendment, Notice No. 1712 and the recruitment archive.
What did BTSC change in the amendment?
The amendment revised specified application and age-cutoff provisions, but it is not a complete statement of eligibility. Applicants reviewing the recruitment should read the original advertisement together with later official notices.

- 54 DOUBLE-SIDED BADGE CARDS, 108 REFERENCES: Nine color-coded categories: General Medical, Neuro, Cardiac, Respiratory, OB & L&D, Pediatrics, Pharmacology, Labs, and clinical Spanish. ECG interpretation, lab values, pediatric vitals, SBAR, and more. One topic per card, indexed so you find it in seconds.
- READABLE MID-SHIFT, ON PURPOSE: Most badge cards cram the text down to 5pt. We print fewer facts per card in a larger type than typical badge cards, built to be read in bad hallway light, at arm's length, with a patient waiting.
- WATERPROOF, TEAR-PROOF, WIPE-CLEAN: Printed on waterproof PVC, not paper or laminated cardstock. Survives handwashing, alcohol wipes, spills and a full clinical rotation without fading, curling or fraying at the punch hole.
- CLIPS TO ANY BADGE REEL OR LANYARD: Standard badge format with a reinforced slot that fits every retractable reel, ID clip and lanyard you will be issued. Slides behind your badge, no bulk, no swinging, no snagging.
- CREATED, REVIEWED, AND FIELD-TESTED BY CLINICAL INSTRUCTORS: Written and reviewed by Chelsey Rodgers, BSN, RN, a clinical instructor with over 20 years in nursing, checked against current published clinical references, and tested by instructors and nursing students. A clinical reference to use alongside your facility's policies and the provider's orders.
- Certificates: For the clauses identified in the amendment, applicants could apply without an Indian Nursing Council suitability certificate and without a Bihar Nursing Council registration certificate.
- Minimum-age cutoff: The amendment changed the cutoff date in clauses 02(i), (iv), and (v) from 1 August 2024 to 1 August 2025.
- Court-related qualification: BTSC stated that publication of the final examination result would be subject to the outcome of the final court order in CWJC No. 7821/2025.
These changes do not describe every qualification, category rule, or eligibility condition. Use the full advertisement and applicable later BTSC notices for those details.
