BIGBLOC was still close to its reported 52-week low in two dated 2026 price snapshots, but the available figures do not prove an uninterrupted “low streak.” Bigbloc Construction Limited (NSE: BIGBLOC; BSE: 540061) had a reported 52-week low of ₹38.00 on 30 March 2026. It was quoted at ₹42.08 at the BSE close on 28 August and ₹40.87 on 11 September. The August valuation snapshot also showed negative trailing earnings and return on equity, so its negative P/E should not be read as evidence that the share was cheap.
What the dated chart points show
Business Standard reported a 52-week high of ₹79.97 on 1 January 2026 and a 52-week low of ₹38.00 on 30 March 2026. Its entry dated 11 September 2026 showed a price of ₹40.87. Separately, The Annexure reported a BSE close of ₹42.08 on 28 August 2026, describing it as 10.7% above the low and 47.4% below the high. These are separate dated observations, not a single live quote or a complete daily price series.

The points support describing BIGBLOC as near its 52-week low on those snapshot dates. They do not establish that the share made successive new lows throughout the intervening period, how often it retested ₹38, or why it fell. The phrase “low streak” therefore overstates what these data can show.

How to interpret the August ratios
The Annexure’s BSE-based snapshot for 28 August 2026 reported trailing EPS of ₹-0.28, P/E of -150.29x, P/B of 10.65x and return on equity of -7.12%. It also gives a book value per share of ₹3.95, which it derives from price divided by P/B; this is not a book-value figure directly published by BSE. The Annexure cautions that EPS may refer to different measurement periods across tables, so the period and basis matter when comparing figures.

Negative earnings make P/E hard to use
A negative P/E arises when earnings are negative. It is not a conventional signal that a share is undervalued: the ratio does not offer a meaningful “cheap versus expensive” reading in the way a positive-earnings P/E may. In this snapshot, the negative EPS is the more direct indication that the company was loss-making on the trailing measure reported.
P/B needs more than a high or low label
Price-to-book compares market value with accounting book value. The reported 10.65x P/B is a multiple, not a fair-value conclusion. It does not by itself establish whether the share is overpriced or attractive; interpretation depends on the reliability and meaning of the book value and on the company’s returns and prospects. The associated ₹3.95 book value per share is The Annexure’s derived figure, not an exchange-reported value.

Negative ROE adds a profitability signal
The reported ROE of -7.12% indicates negative returns on equity for the accounting measure used in the snapshot. It is a profitability measure, not a share-price forecast. Read it alongside the earnings period and financial statements rather than as an isolated valuation verdict.
What recent company results add—and what they do not
Bigbloc Construction describes its business as manufacturing Aerated Autoclaved Concrete (AAC) blocks and panels. The company’s Q3 FY26 release reported ₹728 million revenue from operations, ₹81 million EBITDA, ₹4 million profit after tax (PAT), and sales volume of 214,643 CBM for the quarter ended 31 December 2025. Its Q2 FY26 release reported ₹673 million revenue, ₹19 million EBITDA and a PAT loss of ₹32 million for the quarter ended 30 September 2025; it also reported net debt-to-equity of 1.4x for Q2. These are consolidated company-reported results. The NSE integrated filing identifies AAC blocks as the company’s single reporting segment.
The quarter figures illustrate why revenue, operating earnings and net profit should be considered separately: revenue was reported in both quarters, while EBITDA and PAT were different measures and PAT shifted from a loss in Q2 to a small profit in Q3. This operating context does not establish what caused the share-price movement. No causal link between these results and the cited price points is demonstrated by the figures above.
The company called itself “one of the largest manufacturers of Aerated Autoclaved Concrete (AAC) Blocks and Panels in India” in its Q3 release. That is the company’s own description, not independent ranking evidence.

How to assess the claim and follow the stock
- Check an exchange price series for the dates and frequency of low retests before calling any movement a continuous streak.
- Keep each quote tied to its date and exchange or reporting source; do not combine the 28 August BSE close and 11 September price into a current quote.
- For valuation, identify the earnings period behind EPS and P/E. Where earnings are negative, avoid treating P/E as a standard cheapness test.
- Read P/B with its accounting book-value basis and profitability context; the August book value per share cited here is derived by The Annexure.
- Use company filings for newer results and compare peer ratios only when dates, exchanges, accounting basis and trailing or forward periods match. The figures here do not support a numerical peer ranking.
Market prices and ratios change. The latest price observation covered here is dated 11 September 2026, and the ratio snapshot is dated 28 August 2026; they are not current quotes. Verify the latest exchange data and filings before making an investment decision. An FY2025–26 annual report is listed as dated 31 July 2026, but no claims from its underlying contents are made here.
