No—applications are no longer open. Bharat Electronics Limited’s 2024 notice for 32 non-executive posts at its Electronic Warfare Naval Systems SBU in Hyderabad had a July 11, 2024 deadline. The notice covered Engineering Assistant Trainee, Technician C and Junior Assistant roles. Its dates, eligibility rules and pay figures apply to that closed recruitment cycle, not to a later vacancy.
What posts did BEL advertise?
The official notice listed 32 vacancies across three job categories:

Who was eligible under that notice?
Age and relaxations
The notice set a minimum age of 18 and a general-category upper age limit of 28 years, measured as of June 1, 2024. It provided age relaxation of three years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), five years for SC/ST and ten years for PwBD candidates with at least 40% disability, subject to the notice’s other applicable conditions. These were historical cutoffs for this recruitment, not age rules for future BEL vacancies.

Telangana Employment Exchange registration
Candidates also needed a valid, active Telangana Employment Exchange registration by the application deadline. Anyone assessing an individual case should check the original advertisement’s category-document and qualification requirements rather than relying on a summary.
How did selection and pay work?
Written test and document verification
BEL specified a 150-mark written test: 50 marks for General Awareness, including general mental ability and aptitude, and 100 marks for Technical/Trade Aptitude. Candidates had to qualify separately in both sections: at least 35% in each for General, OBC and EWS candidates, or 30% in each for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. Eligible applicants were to be provisionally shortlisted for the test; candidates shortlisted on written-test marks would then be called for document verification.

Stipend and stated pay scales
For EAT, the 2024 notice set six months of training in Bengaluru with a monthly stipend of ₹24,000. After successful training and passing the gradation test, trainees were to be placed in the stated ₹24,500–₹90,000 pay scale, with admissible allowances. Technician C and Junior Assistant posts carried a stated pay scale of ₹21,500–₹82,000, with admissible allowances. These are figures from the 2024 advertisement, not current compensation guidance for a different recruitment drive.
Application fee in 2024
The notice listed a fee of ₹250 plus 18% GST for General, OBC and EWS candidates. SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen candidates were exempt. It instructed applicants to pay online through SBI Collect and submit the form online.

BEL says recruitment advertisements are published through its official job-notifications page and warns job seekers about fraudulent communications or demands for payment in exchange for employment. Confirm any new vacancy, its dates and its terms through BEL’s official website; the status of a successor recruitment cycle is not established here.
