Bethenny Frankel sold Applejack Farm, her historic estate in Greenwich, Connecticut, for a reported $7,825,000 in 2025. The property, built in 1743, had been purchased by Frankel in 2021 for a reported $4.25 million, according to contemporary coverage.
How much did Bethenny Frankel sell Applejack Farm for?
Frankel’s 2025 sale price was reported as $7,825,000 by Patch and Us Weekly. Architectural Digest rounded the figure to $7.83 million. The publications also reported that she bought the roughly three-acre property in 2021 for $4.25 million.
Those are reported transaction prices, not a measure of Frankel’s net proceeds or investment return. A simple subtraction would not account for transaction expenses, taxes, financing, carrying costs, or renovation spending, none of which is established in the sale coverage.
Where is the estate, and what is its history?
Applejack Farm is in Greenwich, Connecticut. Architectural Digest and Patch report that the house dates to 1743 and that former Connecticut governor Lowell Weicker owned the property from 1989 to 2001. Patch notes that Weicker served as governor from 1991 to 1995.

What did Applejack Farm include?
Reports describe a three-acre property with an approximately 6,500-square-foot main house, guest cottage, three-bay garage, standalone studio, and party barn. Architectural Digest lists five bedrooms and eight bathrooms in the main house, plus two bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths in the cottage. Patch gives a different bathroom breakdown: six full and two half bathrooms in the main house, and two full and one half in the cottage. Because the published counts differ, there is no single bathroom total to state confidently.
Historic character and reported updates
Coverage describes exposed beams, brick fireplaces, paneled walls, ornate moldings, an antique bar, a stone patio, and a covered porch. Architectural Digest reports that Frankel updated the kitchen with La Cornue appliances, marble countertops, exposed beams, built-in bench seating, and black-painted cabinetry. The publication also notes patterned wallpaper, bold paint choices, and updated lighting elsewhere in the home. These are published descriptions, not findings from an independent inspection or appraisal.

What did Frankel say about moving?
Patch reported that Frankel announced a move to Florida on Instagram on April 17, 2025. The publication quoted her saying the move was for “personal and professional reasons” and describing Florida as the intended “primary and permanent residence,” while noting that she planned to maintain residences in the Hamptons and New York City. That was her announcement as reported at the time; it does not establish her present residence.
Patch also quoted listing representative Jeff Jackson of Corcoran Centric Realty describing the chance to own a legacy estate as rare. That is the broker’s promotional assessment, not an independently measured statistic about Greenwich’s housing market.
