The 2024 luggage promotions varied by market, brand and sale window. Harper’s Bazaar Australia reported offers from Samsonite, American Tourister, Carl Friedrik, July, Antler and Tosca; Macy’s separately advertised discounts on select luggage in the United States. These are historical offers, not current deals, and the available announcements do not establish which suitcase offered the best verified value.
When were Black Friday and Cyber Monday in 2024?
Black Friday fell on November 29, 2024, and Cyber Monday on December 2. Retail promotions did not necessarily begin or end on those dates: several Australian offers ran for days or weeks, and Macy’s U.S. event included separate Black Friday and Cyber Monday windows.

Reported luggage deals in the United States
Macy’s, Inc. said its Black Friday Now and Black Friday offers ran November 14–30, 2024, followed by Cyber Monday offers December 1–3. It advertised 60–70% off select luggage from Samsonite, Delsey, Travelpro and other brands. The announcement did not identify individual luggage models in the cited passage, so the percentage should not be read as applying to every bag from those brands.

How to compare suitcase discounts fairly
A large advertised percentage alone cannot establish that a bag is the better buy. The cited announcements do not provide model-by-model prices, a price-history baseline or independently validated savings, so they cannot support a definitive best-value ranking.

- Compare the same model and size, rather than comparing one brand’s sitewide offer with another retailer’s select-item discount.
- Check the final checkout total, including shipping and any threshold needed to qualify for a discount.
- Review return conditions before treating two offers as equivalent; those terms are not specified in the cited deal summaries.
- For a threshold-based promotion such as July’s, calculate the actual reduction on the purchase you intend to make instead of assuming the highest listed saving applies.
Are these deals still available?
No. The offers above were dated promotions from November and December 2024 and should not be treated as live prices in 2026. Current sale-category pages from Antler and Samsonite show present-day product listings, but they do not establish that a 2024 promotion or price remains available.
