The latest confirmed Steam Winter Sale in the available sources ran from December 18, 2025, through January 5, 2026. Two games listed under $10 during that event were Sons of the Forest at $9.29 and Peak at $4.95. Those are historical U.S.-dollar examples, not confirmed current offers; check your regional Steam store for live prices.
Confirmed games under $10 from the 2025 Winter Sale

These prices are the examples reported by PC Gamer’s 2025 roundup. They are not a complete catalogue, a quality ranking, or proof that either game is under $10 now. The source does not specify a region for those figures, so check the currency and price shown in your own Steam store.
What the latest confirmed Winter Sale tells you
Steam announced that the 2025 Winter Sale ran from December 18, 2025, through January 5, 2026, and described thousands of games as discounted. That establishes the dates and broad scale of that event—not the schedule or discounts for the next Winter Sale. See Steam’s Winter Sale announcement.

The sources establish neither confirmed dates for the 2026 event nor game-by-game prices for it. Treat any price from the 2025 event as historical unless the live store confirms it during the sale you are shopping.
How to check whether a game is really under $10
- Open the game’s Steam store page for your account and region. Use the displayed local currency rather than assuming a price reported in dollars applies to you.
- Check the current listed price and confirm that the discount is active. Compare the total with your $10 budget in the same currency; taxes or other checkout charges may affect the final amount.
- Read the sale end time on the store page. A price in an old roundup does not establish the current price or availability.
- Compare the game’s genre and play style with what you want. A lower price is only useful if the game suits you; the cited roundup is a deal list, not an independent test.
What to include in a current sale list
For a useful, verifiable roundup, give each listing the game title, its live regional price and currency, the sale end date, and a short description of its play style. Include the date you checked the store. Keep historical examples clearly labeled and separate from live deals so readers do not mistake last year’s discount for an offer they can buy today.
