How do seat depth and overall depth affect the fit?
Overall depth tells you how far the sofa extends from front to back; seat depth describes the usable seating area. A deep seat may suit sprawling or curling up, while a shallower seat may better support upright sitting or fit a smaller room. These are practical selection considerations, not guarantees about anyone’s comfort.
