Expired deal: Best Buy Canada’s 2025 Spring Sale advertised the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold for CA$2,269.99, a claimed CA$300 reduction. The sale was scheduled to run March 7–13, 2025, so that offer is no longer actionable as of August 18, 2026. MobileSyrup reported the price, discount and sale dates.
What the Best Buy Canada offer included
| Detail | Reported offer |
|---|---|
| Retailer and promotion | Best Buy Canada Spring Sale |
| Sale dates | March 7–13, 2025 |
| Phone | Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold |
| Advertised price | CA$2,269.99 |
| Advertised savings | CA$300 |
| Storage, colour and condition | Not stated in the deal report |
The sale report gives the advertised discount, but does not establish the exact regular price or that CA$2,269.99 was the phone’s lowest-ever price. It also does not confirm which storage or colour variant was included, whether the listing was for a new or open-box device, or whether it was sold directly by Best Buy. The reported price is in Canadian dollars and should not be treated as a tax-included checkout total.
Can you still buy it at that price?
No. The published promotion window ended March 13, 2025. A cached listing or search result would not prove that the old price or stock remains available. No current Best Buy Canada Pixel 9 Pro Fold listing or price is established here, so check any live product page directly rather than relying on the expired promotion.
What the Pixel 9 Pro Fold offers
Google describes the Pixel 9 Pro Fold as its second-generation foldable, with a 6.3-inch outer display and an approximately 8-inch inner display, powered by Tensor G4. Google also promotes foldable-oriented multitasking, Circle to Search, Gemini features and camera capabilities. These are manufacturer descriptions, not independent test results. See Google’s foldable-phone overview and Google’s Pixel 9 Pro family product page for the company’s feature and support information.

#1 Best Overall
- The power behind AI on Google Pixel - Google Tensor G4 is Pixel’s fastest, most powerful chip yet. It powers Google’s AI for innovative camera features, seamless multitasking, and more help throughout the day.
- Gemini. Your built-in AI assistant - Gemini helps you supercharge your ideas. Hold the power button to start writing, planning, learning, and more.
- A camera that unfolds a world of creativity - With a flexible design, powerful triple rear camera system, and advanced AI, it’s easy to snap brilliant selfies, take incredible group pics, and add custom edits.
- Opens smoothly, stands solidly - Use Pixel 9 Pro Fold lying flat or in multiple standing positions. And count on its sturdy hinge to hold up fold after fold.
- Meet your new dream screens - Immerse yourself in entertainment and ease through daily tasks with the 80% brighter 8" Super Actua Flex inner display and 6.3" Actua outer display. The largest display on a phone.
A foldable can make sense for someone who wants a larger screen for split-screen work or media without carrying a separate tablet. It is less compelling for someone who prioritizes compactness, the lowest purchase price, or avoiding potential hinge and inner-screen repair costs. Check Canadian warranty coverage, repair options and any accidental-damage plan before buying; the historical sale report does not establish those terms.
What to verify on any current listing
- Exact model and storage: The historic deal report does not identify a storage configuration. Confirm the SKU and capacity before comparing prices; storage generally cannot be expanded.
- Seller and condition: Check who sold and shipped the phone and whether it is new, open-box or refurbished.
- Lock status and warranty: Confirm whether the device is unlocked and which manufacturer or seller warranty applies.
- Returns and total cost: Review the return period, exclusions, delivery fees, applicable taxes and any financing terms before checkout.
- Stock and price-match rules: Confirm regional availability and whether the retailer’s current price-match policy applies to that listing.
What to consider instead
Pixel 10 Pro Fold
For a newer Google foldable, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is the closest successor-category alternative. Google Store Canada search results showed the 256GB model at CA$2,399, with larger capacities also listed; that is a point-in-time price signal, not a guaranteed checkout price. Check Google’s Canadian purchase page for live configuration, price and availability. It is a separate product, not a continuation of Best Buy’s expired Pixel 9 Pro Fold promotion.
Rank #2

- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan[2]; it works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers
- Unlock Gemini Advanced for a year at no cost to you; get access to even more powerful AI features with the Google One AI Premium plan, a total value of $239 at no cost to you[8,9]
- Pixel 9 Pro Fold is the thinnest foldable available[3]; it features a silky matte glass back, a redesigned camera bar, and a scratch-resistant display
- Take brilliant selfies and incredible group pics with Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s advanced triple rear camera, flexible design, and innovative AI; use tabletop mode for tripod-free astrophotography and group pics
Pixel 9 Pro or Pro XL
If you want Pixel software and cameras but do not need a folding screen, a conventional Pixel 9 Pro model may better suit a lower-cost or simpler-phone purchase. Google Canada search results showed the Pixel 9 Pro starting at CA$1,349, a point-in-time signal that should be rechecked. See Google’s Canadian Pixel 9 Pro specifications page.
Prices, inventory, delivery, financing and retailer terms can change. Compare the full cost and the specific configuration before making a purchase; neither the 2025 offer nor its advertised savings establish what a Pixel 9 Pro Fold costs today.
