Re:

Best Black Friday power station deals 2025: Historical picks and what to buy now

Black Friday 2025 deals are over. Here are the strongest historical power-station offers, who they suited, and how to judge whether a current price is genuinely good.

Update: Black Friday 2025 ended on November 28, and Cyber Monday ended on December 1. The deals and prices in this guide are historical U.S. offers unless explicitly marked otherwise; they are not confirmed to be available now.

The best offers were not necessarily the largest percentage discounts. The strongest value generally came from trusted brands such as EcoFlow, Jackery and Anker, with roughly 1kWh LiFePO4 stations offering the best balance of capacity, output and portability. Larger 2–5kWh systems made sense only for buyers who understood expansion-battery, solar and home-integration costs.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Quick verdict

If you are preserving this article as a 2025 deal guide, the best target was a roughly 1,000Wh LiFePO4 station with at least 1,000–1,800W of continuous AC output. EcoFlow’s historical DELTA 3 and DELTA 3 Plus prices were especially relevant in that category. Jackery’s Explorer 1000 v2 and Explorer 2000 v2 were sensible camping and outage options, while larger models such as the EcoFlow DELTA Pro and Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus were appropriate only for serious backup use.

If you are shopping now, do not assume any price below is live. Check the manufacturer’s current checkout price, product condition, warranty and included accessories before buying. EcoFlow’s old 2025 presale page is no longer available, while Jackery’s Black Friday page has subsequently displayed a mixture of new and refurbished products: EcoFlow’s historical 2025 page and Jackery’s current promotional page.

Best high-capacity option EcoFlow DELTA Pro $1,599, from $2,799 3.6–25kWh expandable; 3,600W Expired 2025 U.S. offer; excessive for ordinary camping
Best serious home-backup candidate Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus 10% off on the cited page 5,040Wh; 7,200W; 120V/240V Requires careful system and installation planning
Best international fast-recharge reference Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 £494, from £999 Model reported at 2,000W with 10 ports U.K. price only; do not treat it as a U.S. deal

EcoFlow prices and specifications above came from its 2025 U.S. presale page and should be treated as an archived snapshot, not a current offer. The Anker price was reported in pounds sterling by TechRadar and cannot establish U.S. pricing: Anker deal coverage.

Which type of buyer should choose which station?

Use case Useful starting point What to prioritize Main trap
Phones and cameras 200–300Wh, 300W AC Low idle draw, USB-C and portability Paying for solar or inverter capacity you will not use
Laptops, CPAP and camping 500–1,000Wh, 500–1,500W LiFePO4 battery, pure-sine AC and manageable weight Ignoring overnight consumption from heated CPAP equipment
RV or van use 1,000–2,000Wh, 1,500–2,400W Compatible DC charging, solar input and expansion Assuming every panel or vehicle cable works with every station
Short outages 1,000–2,000Wh Fast charging, surge capacity and clear UPS/EPS specifications Assuming a portable unit can power a furnace or whole house
Refrigerator and essentials 2,000–4,000Wh High surge output and realistic runtime Checking only the refrigerator’s running wattage
Whole-home or selected-circuit backup 3–10kWh or more 120V/240V support, transfer equipment and qualified installation Unsafe backfeeding or overlooking installation costs

These are selection thresholds, not guarantees. Actual performance depends on startup surge, inverter losses, temperature, battery age, appliance cycling and the specific configuration.

The strongest historical EcoFlow offers

EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus: best fit for many serious users

The historical $689 price made the DELTA 3 Plus a compelling candidate for buyers who wanted a roughly 1kWh-class station with 1,800W output and expansion potential up to 5kWh. It was a better match for regular campers, remote workers and short-outage users than the much larger DELTA Pro.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Buy this type of deal if: you need meaningful AC output, fast recovery and a path to more capacity.

Skip it if: you mainly charge phones and laptops, or if the checkout price now requires expensive batteries and panels to become useful.

The historical listing is documented in EcoFlow’s archived deal URL. That page is no longer evidence of current availability.

EcoFlow DELTA 3: the value alternative

At a historical $549, the DELTA 3 was potentially the smarter purchase for people who did not need the Plus model’s additional features. Its 1,800W output and 1–5kWh expansion range placed it in the practical middle ground between compact electronics stations and large home-backup systems.

Compare the actual current price, included cables, warranty and expansion compatibility before choosing it over newer or discounted alternatives. A lower MSRP is not automatically a lower street price.

EcoFlow RIVER 3 and RIVER 3 Plus: compact, but limited

The RIVER 3 was listed at $199 and the RIVER 3 Plus at $259 during the 2025 presale. With 245Wh and 286Wh capacities respectively, these are appropriate for phones, cameras, routers, tablets and some laptops. They are not substitutes for a 1kWh station when you need overnight CPAP operation, refrigerator backup or repeated high-wattage loads.

EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max and DELTA Pro

The DELTA 2 Max was listed at $949 against $1,299, with 2kWh capacity and 2,400W output. It could make sense when discounted below newer equivalents, but verify expansion and warranty support.

The DELTA Pro was listed at $1,599 against $2,799, with 3.6–25kWh expansion and 3,600W output. That is a meaningful historical reduction, but it is not a universal bargain. Its size, weight and accessory costs make it excessive for simple camping or laptop backup. It becomes more defensible when you need high output or a modular home-backup system.

Explorer 1000 v2

The Explorer 1000 v2 was listed at 1,070Wh with a one-hour emergency-charge claim. It is the right category for camping, travel and short outages, provided the final price is competitive with other 1kWh-class LiFePO4 stations.

The refurbished version was listed at 55% off. That may be attractive, but it should be evaluated separately from new products. Check the refurbishment definition, battery-health information, included accessories, warranty and return period.

Explorer 2000 v2

The Explorer 2000 v2 was listed at 2,042Wh and a 1.3-hour emergency-charge claim, with a 10% discount for the new product on the cited page. It is better suited than a 1kWh station to refrigerator backup and longer outages, but a larger battery does not solve startup-surge or home-wiring problems by itself.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Explorer 5000 Plus and HomePower systems

The Explorer 5000 Plus was listed at 5,040Wh, 7,200W and 120V/240V, while the HomePower 3600 Plus was listed at 3.6kWh and 3,600W. These belong in the home-backup category, not the casual portable category.

Jackery’s page describes transfer-switch products for selected circuits and says installation should be completed by a certified electrician or qualified professional. Never connect a power station to a household panel or outlet in a way that can backfeed utility wiring.

Where Anker and Bluetti fit

Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2

The strongest cited Anker deal was a U.K. offer for the SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 at £494, down from £999. TechRadar reported a 49-minute full-recharge claim, 2,000W output and 10 ports. Those details do not establish a U.S. price, and the C1000 should not be confused with the C1000 Gen 2.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

For a U.S. purchase, verify the exact model, voltage, warranty, return terms and checkout currency on Anker’s U.S. page. Also distinguish a bare station from a solar-panel bundle.

Bluetti

Bluetti is a credible comparison brand, but the available evidence does not establish a specific official U.S. Black Friday 2025 price. Do not label a Bluetti model the best deal without a verified model-level price, specifications and availability. Compare it with EcoFlow, Jackery and Anker on usable capacity, continuous output, battery chemistry, warranty, weight and expansion—not brand reputation alone. The official site is Bluetti Power.

How to tell whether a deal is genuinely good

  1. Use the final checkout price. Include automatic discounts, coupon codes, membership requirements and shipping.
  2. Separate the station from the system. Add the price of the necessary solar panel, cable, expansion battery, transfer switch and installation.
  3. Check the normal street price. A discount from an inflated MSRP is not necessarily a bargain. TechRadar’s deal guidance also recommends checking price history rather than trusting the headline percentage.
  4. Compare equivalent products. A 1kWh station-only offer is not directly comparable with a 1kWh solar bundle or refurbished unit.
  5. Calculate value beyond watt-hours. Consider capacity per dollar, continuous watts per dollar, weight, recharge speed, warranty and support.
  6. Confirm status. Label the product as new, refurbished, open-box, clearance, coupon-dependent or bundle-only.

A 60% discount can be worse value than a 25% discount if the first product is based on an inflated list price, has a weaker warranty or requires expensive accessories.

How much capacity do you need?

Use this estimate:

Approximate runtime in hours = capacity in Wh × estimated efficiency ÷ device power in W

For a rough estimate, use 80–90% efficiency for AC loads. Actual results vary.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • A 60W laptop from a 1,000Wh station may run for roughly 13–15 hours after conversion losses.
  • A 100W CPAP setup may run for approximately 8–9 hours, but heated tubing and humidification can consume substantially more.
  • A 1,000W appliance may run for approximately 45–55 minutes from a 1,000Wh station, not a full hour.
  • A refrigerator cannot be estimated reliably from running wattage alone because its compressor cycles and draws a startup surge.

When runtime matters, measure the actual device with a plug-in power meter. For medical equipment, follow the equipment manufacturer’s backup-power requirements; a consumer power station is not automatically an approved medical backup.

  • 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝟗𝟗% 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬: 1,500W continuous output and 3,000W peak output keep nearly every essential appliance running. Actual runtime will vary depending on your refrigerator model, usage habits, and ambient temperature.
  • 𝟔 𝐖𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞: Supports up to 400W solar input. Power up via AC + solar, a wall outlet, a generator, solar panels, an alternator charger, or a car outlet—anytime, anywhere.

Specifications that matter more than the discount

  • Usable capacity: The advertised watt-hours are not normally delivered entirely to AC devices because of inverter and conversion losses.
  • Continuous AC output: This determines the load the inverter can sustain.
  • Surge output: Refrigerators, pumps, compressors and some tools need extra power during startup.
  • Battery chemistry: LiFePO4 generally offers longer cycle life and better thermal stability than older lithium-ion chemistries, but cycle-life and longevity figures should be treated as manufacturer claims unless independently tested.
  • Recharge speed: Fast charging is useful before a storm but can increase fan noise, heat and household power draw.
  • Solar-input limits: Panel voltage and current must remain within the station’s specified range. Shade, angle, weather and season can reduce real-world output well below the panel’s rating.
  • UPS or EPS behavior: These labels vary. Check the specified transfer time and whether the feature suits your equipment.
  • Expansion: Confirm compatible batteries and whether expansion works while charging or only in specific configurations.
  • Ports and ergonomics: Count AC outlets, USB-C wattage, 12V ports, RV outlets, handles and actual carry weight.
  • Warranty and support: Compare term length, exclusions, repair process and shipping geography.

Important failure modes

Refrigerators and freezers

A refrigerator can exceed an inverter’s surge limit even when its average running draw looks modest. Compressor cycling also makes runtime unpredictable. Test the station with the appliance if possible, or use manufacturer specifications for both running and starting watts.

CPAP machines

Heated humidifiers and heated tubing can sharply reduce runtime. A compact station may be adequate for a bare CPAP setup but not for a full heated configuration over multiple nights.

Space heaters, kettles and microwaves

These loads consume battery capacity quickly. A 1,000W appliance can drain a 1,000Wh station in roughly an hour or less after losses. A station may run a kettle or microwave if its continuous and surge ratings permit it, but that does not make it an efficient emergency-heating solution.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Furnaces and home panels

A furnace blower may require a compatible electrical connection and transfer equipment. A portable station does not automatically provide whole-home backup. Use selected circuits and qualified installation where required, and never backfeed through a household outlet.

Cold weather, extension cords and pass-through charging

Low temperatures can change battery performance and charging behavior. Extension-cord gauge, length and load rating matter. Also verify whether pass-through charging is supported and how it affects battery cycling or UPS behavior.

Apps, firmware and air travel

Some advanced features require an app, account, Wi-Fi connection or firmware update. Large power stations generally cannot be treated like small USB power banks for airline travel; check the airline and battery rules before taking one to an airport.

Portable power station versus gasoline generator

A battery station is quiet, produces no exhaust at the point of use and can be convenient indoors when used according to the manufacturer’s guidance. Its disadvantages are finite runtime, recharge dependence and usually lower sustained output than a fuel generator.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

A gasoline generator can provide longer sustained output with fuel, but it must be operated outdoors with appropriate ventilation, fuel storage and carbon-monoxide precautions. Neither option is universally better: choose according to load, runtime, noise, fuel access and where the equipment can be operated safely.

Buy, wait or skip?

  • Buy: The actual price is below the model’s normal street price, the station has adequate continuous and surge output, and the included accessories match your use.
  • Wait: The discount is based mainly on MSRP, the price requires costly extras, or a current promotion has unclear terms.
  • Skip: The battery chemistry, warranty or support is unclear; the product is unsuitable for your appliance; or a refurbished unit does not provide acceptable condition and return protection.

For most shoppers, the practical target remains a new, roughly 1kWh LiFePO4 station with at least 1,000–1,800W of continuous output. Choose a compact 200–300Wh model for electronics, move to 2–4kWh for refrigerator and essential-load backup, and treat 5kWh-plus systems as installation and system-planning purchases rather than ordinary camping accessories.
