Argos’s early Black Friday sale featured reported discounts on LEGO Star Wars, Harry Potter and Technic sets before Black Friday itself, which fell on 29 November 2024. T3’s exact-title roundup, published 12 November 2024, reported the offers below. These are historical prices, not current Argos listings or confirmation of stock.
Which Argos LEGO sets were discounted in 2024?
The table separates the sets by set number where one was given. Prices are those reported by the named deal coverage; “previous price” reflects how that coverage described the comparison, not an independently verified price history.
| Theme and set | Previous price reported | Sale price reported | Reported reduction | Source and date |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Star Wars Millennium Falcon UCS Collector Series, set 75192 | £735 | £525 | £210 | T3, 12 November 2024; also listed by Playpennies, 2024 |
| Harry Potter Hagrid’s Hut | £65 | £48.50 | £16.50 | T3, 12 November 2024 |
| Technic Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 | £390 | £289.99 | £100.01 | T3, 12 November 2024 |
| Technic Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance, set 42171 | £190 | £135 | £55 | Playpennies, 2024 |
| Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle, set 71043 | £410 | £307 | £103 | Playpennies, 2024 |
Which Millennium Falcon was £525?
The £525 offer was for the large Millennium Falcon UCS Collector Series, set 75192. T3’s coverage describes this as the 7,542-piece model, reduced from a stated £735. Playpennies also lists that set number and those prices.
Do not confuse it with the smaller Millennium Falcon building set reported separately by TechRadar: that model had 1,351 pieces and seven minifigures, and was listed at £99.99 from £150. That reported offer was for the smaller set, not UCS set 75192. TechRadar’s 2024 coverage distinguishes the two.

When were the offers reported?
T3 said Argos started its Black Friday sale on 1 November 2024, ahead of Black Friday on 29 November. Its roundup was published on 12 November, so the prices in that article are a snapshot of reported offers at that time—not a guarantee that every deal lasted through the sale or was available at checkout. The other figures above are likewise historical deal-page claims, not evidence of stock or live pricing.

These figures can help identify the sets and put the 2024 coverage in context, but they are not a present-day buying guide. Before buying, search by exact set number as well as name, and check the retailer’s current listing for price, availability and whether the product matches the intended version. T3 also named Amazon, LEGO, John Lewis and Smyths Toys as places to compare LEGO deals; that does not establish current offers at those retailers.
