Bentley’s announcement does not state that this car cost $2.1 million, so that figure should not be treated as a confirmed transaction price.
What is the Bentley Batur Black Rose?
Bentley unveiled The Black Rose on 11 March 2025 as an individual Mulliner customer commission. Bentley says it was created through a co-creation process between the client and Mulliner’s design team, and is one of 18 Baturs being built. It is also one of only three right-hand-drive examples, according to Bentley’s announcement.
The Batur is a two-seat grand tourer powered by a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12. Bentley’s Batur model page describes the run as sold out. Black Rose is therefore not a separate production model available to order as one of several consumer configurations; it is a bespoke car within that limited series.
What makes the Black Rose’s design distinctive?
Dark exterior with satin rose-gold accents
The exterior pairs specially commissioned metallic Black Rose paint with a gloss Beluga upper body. Satin Rose Gold accents appear on the front grille, the “endless bonnet line” brightware, mirror caps, lower body kit and 22-inch tri-tone wheels. Bentley describes the cabin as carrying the same dark-and-gold theme.

Selected solid rose-gold details are 3D printed
Bentley calls the interior treatment its first expression of three-dimensional printed solid rose gold in this grand tourer. The announcement names three touchpoints: the driver-mode selector, organ-stop air-vent controls and a rose-gold insert marker on the steering wheel. The claim applies to these specified interior details, not to every gold-colored surface or accent on the car.
Bentley’s separate account of the Batur development programme describes testing recycled 3D-printed gold parts, including thermal loading and resistance to sun cream. That is programme-level testing context; Bentley’s account does not identify those tested parts as the Black Rose commission’s components. The release also says the development programme covered more than 30,000 kilometres of real-world driving, which is not a mileage figure for this individual car. See Bentley’s development-programme account.

How much does the Black Rose Batur cost?
Bentley’s 11 March 2025 announcement of The Black Rose does not publish its final price. The $2.1 million figure in some headline wording is therefore not confirmed by that official release.
For context only, Bentley’s 21 August 2022 Batur launch announcement quoted a series launch price of £1.65 million excluding taxes and options. That was a historical model-level launch price, not a disclosed sale price for the Black Rose commission; it does not verify the $2.1 million figure. The original announcement is available in Bentley’s launch release.

Is the Black Rose a one-off?
It is an individual customer commission with its own bespoke design, but Bentley identifies it as one car within the 18-car Batur run, not as a separate one-car production series. The broader Batur run is sold out, and Bentley says only three of the Baturs are right-hand drive.
