Bell’s $49/100GB offer was a historical promotion reported on March 13, 2025—not a price confirmed as available today. The same report said Bell cut its 200GB Canada/U.S./Mexico plan from $90 to $75 per month. Bell’s current plan page, accessed October 8, 2026, shows a different lineup and prices affected by credits, so shoppers should check the full terms before comparing advertised monthly costs.
What Bell changed in March 2025
MobileSyrup reported that Bell introduced a $49-per-month 5G+ plan with 100GB of data, unlimited Canada-wide calling and international texting. The price included an automatic-payment discount. After the 100GB high-speed allowance, data continued at up to 512 Kbps with no overage fees, according to the report. MobileSyrup’s March 13, 2025 report described the offer as closely matching a TELUS plan.
The report also described two other changes: Bell increased the data on a $60 plan from 100GB to 150GB and added U.S. roaming, and lowered the monthly price of its 200GB Canada/U.S./Mexico plan from $90 to $75. These were reported offer details at that time, not confirmation of current prices or availability.
How the reported plans compared
| Offer reported by MobileSyrup on March 13, 2025 | Monthly price | Data and roaming |
|---|---|---|
| Bell 5G+ plan | $49, including an automatic-payment discount | 100GB, then up to 512 Kbps with no overage fees; unlimited Canada-wide calling and international texting |
| Bell plan with expanded data | $60 | Increased from 100GB to 150GB; U.S. roaming added |
| Bell Canada/U.S./Mexico plan | Reduced from $90 to $75 per month | 200GB across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, as described in the report |
MobileSyrup said the $49 offer closely matched a TELUS plan, but the available current TELUS source is for small-business plans. It does not establish the terms or availability of the personal plan cited in the 2025 comparison. TELUS’s accessible small-business plan page discusses business multi-line and pre-authorized-payment discounts, which should not be treated as proof of current personal-plan pricing.

What Bell lists now
Bell’s public mobility page accessed October 8, 2026 features Select 100GB plans with U.S. roaming, a different offer from the $49/100GB plan reported in 2025. The page lists 100GB at up to 2 Gbps, followed by unlimited data at up to 512 Kbps, unlimited calling, texting and data in Canada and the U.S., 5GB per day of U.S. roaming before reduced speeds, SD streaming and hotspot capability. See Bell’s mobility plan page for the displayed terms.
Bell’s current page says displayed example prices can include Internet-bundle, autopay and promotional credits. A shopper may not qualify for every credit, and the historical automatic-payment discount should not be confused with the current page’s combination of potential credits. Check the checkout price, eligibility rules, credit duration and regular price before treating an advertised monthly figure as your ongoing bill.

What to compare before choosing a plan
A low advertised price is only useful if the plan fits your usage and the conditions behind the price are clear. Compare the full cost and service terms, not just the headline data amount.
- Monthly cost: Confirm which discounts are automatic and which require autopay, an Internet bundle, a promotion or other eligibility.
- High-speed data: Check the included high-speed allowance and the speed after it is used. The 2025 Bell $49 offer was reported to continue at up to 512 Kbps after 100GB, while Bell’s current Select page lists 100GB at up to 2 Gbps and unlimited data at up to 512 Kbps thereafter.
- Roaming: Verify included countries, daily limits and what happens after a roaming allowance is reached. The historical $60 plan was reported to add U.S. roaming; Bell’s current Select listing specifies 5GB per day in the U.S. before reduced speeds.
- Video and hotspot use: Check streaming quality limits and hotspot terms if they matter to you. In March 2025, MobileSyrup reported Bell plans as SD (480p) or HD (1080p), with an HD add-on for $5 per month at that time. Bell briefly removed quality details during a plan-page redesign and restored them on March 14, 2025. Those are historical details, not confirmed current terms.
- Price duration and qualification: Ask whether credits are temporary, whether a new activation or bundle is required, and what the bill becomes when a promotion ends.
Bottom line for shoppers
The $49/100GB price and the $75 price for 200GB in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico were part of Bell’s March 2025 plan refresh as reported by MobileSyrup. Bell’s page accessed October 8, 2026 shows different 100GB terms and prices that may reflect several credits. Treat the older figures as historical, and compare the currently available plan’s final eligible price, data speeds, roaming limits and streaming conditions before switching.
